Restrictions on access

Access to cassette interviews and transcripts is restricted to protect the privacy of the interviewees as stipulated in the donation agreement between the donor and the Archives. Restrictions expire January 1, 2045. Prior to this date, the Archives will provide access only under the terms and conditions of a Research Agreement; consult the reference archivist for more information.

For preservation reasons, access to the sound recordings is restricted due to the age and fragility of the cassettes. The Archives will provide access only through digitization of the originals. As of October 2012, no interviews have been digitized. Consult the reference archivist for more information about accessing the sound recordings.
