Biographical history
Peter Quartermain is a critic and scholar living in Vancouver, B.C. He taught poetics and poetry at the University of British Columbia for over thirty years, and is the author of Stubborn Poetries: Poetic Facticity and the Avant-Garde (2013) and editor of The Collected Poems and Plays of Robert Duncan (published in two volumes in 2012 and 2013). He runs Nomados Literary Publishers with his wife, Meredith.

The records were in the custody of Peter Quartermain until their acquisition by Simon Fraser University Library Special Collections and Rare Books in 2014.
