Sub-series consists of notes and research records relating to the sale of the company R. Dunsmuir and Sons by James Dunsmuir to Canadian Collieries (Dunsmuir) Ltd. in 1910. In 1910 Canadian Collieries (Dunsmuir) Ltd. also purchased Robert Dunsmuir's company Wellington Colliery Company Ltd.
