Administrative history
Iron was a literary magazine founded in 1966 by a number of students associated with the Simon Fraser University English Department, many of them studying under the poet Robin Blaser. Principals included Brian Fawcett, Brett Enemark, Neap Hoover, Alden Gouden and Sharon Thesen. Fourteen issues were published between 1966 and 1972 plus another six published in a second series that ended in 1978.
