Fonds consists of correspondence, written works and published materials by Blaser and other writers, photographs, and other records accumulated by Blaser during his lifetime. Records include poems, journals and notebooks, book manuscripts, essays, audio and video recordings of poetry readings, personal and financial records, teaching materials, genealogical records, collected publications and articles, and conference and promotional material. Blaser, Robin

Berlin 2000 – [correspondence, clippings, etc.]

File contains correspondence between Blaser and Andrew Rosner, Sally Cox, and others. Also includes photocopies of newspaper clippings featuring reviews of “The Last Supper” and drawings of stage construction.

Travel records

Series consists of textual records and photographs relating to locations to which Blaser traveled. Records include travel schedules, receipts, handwritten notes, boarding passes, event programs, ticket stubs, and brochures.

Sante Fe

File includes textual records regarding a trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico.

File includes articles regarding Blaser and his works.

Kootenay School Talk

File contains photocopied articles, notes, and other material used by Blaser for a talk at Kootenay School of Writing.

Naropa Lecture Notes 2003

File includes notes, photocopied articles, and magazine and newspaper clippings used by Blaser for a lecture at Naropa University.

File consists of papers written by students of Blaser while he taught at Simon Fraser University. Includes work by Brian Fawcett, Sharon Thesen (as ‘Sharon Fawcett’), Karl Siegler, Kate Braid, Richard Lemm, and others.

File contains poems, manuscripts, and various works by Stephen Bett, Brett Enemark, Jim Herndon, and other authors that are unidentified.

Naropa – 2004, 2002

File contains pamphlets and correspondence relating to Blaser’s trip to Naropa University for a summer writing program.

Business and financial records

Series consists of records related to Blaser’s finances, including contracts, royalties and speaking honorariums, personal budgets, bank and personal loan information, pension records, tax records, mutual funds and stocks held by Blaser, and life insurance policies purchased by Blaser.

Spicer-Bancroft Library

File contains documents appointing Blaser the literary executor of Jack Spicer, and materials relating to the donation of Spicer’s papers to the Bancroft Library.
