Series contains both incoming and outgoing correspondence. The correspondence relates to June's professional life as a writer and her personal life. It is arranged in six sub-series: Correspondence related to novels (1959-1992); Correspondence from publishing companies (1953-1965); Correspondence with agents (1954-1981); Correspondence with Al Hart (1960-1990); General (1958-1992); and Personal ([1949?]-2000).

This sub-series contains June's incoming correspondence from family and friends. Some of the correspondence is addressed to June's children or both her and her husband Fred.

Fonds consists of records relating to the writing and publication of novels written by June Skinner under the pen names of Rohan O'Grady, and A. Carleon. These include original manuscripts, notes on works in progress, memorabilia, promotional material, rejection letters, grant applications, photographs, scrapbooks, and correspondence.

The fonds has been arranged into the following series: Manuscripts (1936-[1992?]); Contracts (1960-1998); Correspondence ([1949?]-2000); Research (1965-[197-?]); Promotional material and reviews (1961-1974); Personal (1947-[196-?]); and Finance (1941-1992).

File contains incoming and outgoing correspondence from Robert Goldfarb, Mavis McIntosh, and Al Hart about possible movie adaptations. Other correspondence in the file is incoming and outgoing from Mary Maillard in the 1990's about movie interests. File also contains the contracts for the movie rights to O’Houlihan’s Jest, and Let’s Kill Uncle.

Sub-series contains incoming and outgoing correspondence between Skinner and Al Hart. Hart was first Skinner's editor at various publishers and later he was her literary agent.
