Fonds consists of records arising from Klaus Rieckhoff's teaching and research activities as well as records made and received by Rieckhoff as an elected member of the SFU Senate, Board of Governors, and various faculty, departmental, and university committees. Records include correspondence, memos, notes, publications, reports, lists, minutes, and evaluations.

The fonds consists of records related to Webster's work as a scientist and administrator at SFU as well as records related to his involvement in a number of external organizations at the local, provincial, and national levels.

The fonds includes correspondence with colleagues and students from around the world, reports, memos and communications with SFU colleagues, and committees, reprints of research articles which he authored, correspondence with contributors to Economic Nematology (the book he edited), and records related to external organizations such as the Arts, Science and Technology Centre of BC, the Science Council of Canada, Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), and Tynehead Zoological Society of BC.

The fonds consists of a booklet of the proceedings of the 4th annual conference of the Canadian Association of University Security Directors, held at SFU in 1974. The fonds also consists of 12 photographs, 9 of which depict the construction of SFU. The other 3 depict Fred in various official capacities, including coordinating a search for a missing girl and a contact sheet showing Hope posing in his office. Two of the construction photographs were George Allen aerial photographs numbered 11620 and 9328 have been added to the SFU archives aerial photograph collection (F-30-3-0-0-1).

Note: While the deed of gift indicates that a plaque and two yearbooks: SFU The Early Years and SFU: A Report on the Early Years were also donated, there is no evidence of these items in the fonds.

Fonds consists of research material gathered by Johnston for his book Radical Campus: Making Simon Fraser University. Subjects, events and activities documented include the socio-political context of post-secondary education in the 1960s; the establishment of SFU; and the rise of student activism. The fonds consists primarily of photocopied material from fonds and newspapers; interview transcriptions and audiocassettes; and notes and drafts.

The fonds consists of records created, received and collected by Gordon M. Shrum. Records reflect his involvement with Simon Fraser University as Chancellor, his contribution to building the new university and his interest in education and SFU after he retired as Chancellor. Includes correspondence, reports, briefs, memoranda, photographs, architectural drawings, publications, and newspaper clippings.

Fonds consists of predominantly of media works (photographs, moving images, sound recordings, graphic materials) created by LIDC and its predecessors. Records were created in the course of the department's work to provide media and technical support for university teaching and research; support instruction in the development of innovative teaching methods; produce publications to communicate and promote SFU and its programs; and create an audio-visual record of campus events and activities. Records include photographs in various formats (negatives, contact sheets, prints, slides), graphic design materials (drawings and cartoons), sound recordings and moving images; textual records comprise print publications created for client departments.

The fonds of the Vancouver Women in Trades Association consists of records created and received in the course of administering the organization and providing support and advocacy for women working in trades and technology in the Vancouver area. Activities documented include annual and monthly meetings; office administration and funding; liaison with other groups; advisory work on vocational curricula; outreach projects; and advocacy around specific issues. Fonds consists of records created or received by the Peak Publications Society primarily in the course of publishing The Peak, the student newspaper of Simon Fraser University. Activities and topics documented include the establishment and organization of the Peak Publications Society; developing sources of funding; the production of the newspaper, including the taking of photographs required to illustrate stories published; the hiring and duties of Peak staff members; and other publishing ventures of the Peak Publications Society. Includes a complete run of The Peak newspaper from 1965 and other published material such as the Terminal City Express, The Dic (student course guide), and The Peak Handbook. Also includes certification of incorporation, constitution, agendas, minutes, financial records, correspondence, and other documents, as well as contact sheets, prints, negatives, and microfilm reels.

The fonds consists of records relating to the life of W.A.C. Bennett. Documented are his personal life, business ventures, community service, club affiliations, and political activities, including his terms as Member of the Legislative Assembly for South Okanagan, and as Premier of British Columbia.

Personal records consist of early correspondence and household records, as well as material which documents W.A.C. Bennett's association with freemasonry and his fundraising activities with organizations such as the Salvation Army.

Business records consist of material relating to Bennett Hardware, Bennett’s Stores, and Calona Wines.

Political records refer to Bennett's tenure as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for South Okanagan, as Premier and as leader of the Opposition. Also relevant are records referring to the passage of a number of Municipal Acts and Bennett’s relationship with Federal politics.

The fonds consists of research material acquired by Peter Poole in the course of preparing his thesis and an earlier essay on the solidarity movement. The fonds includes taped interviews of trade union leaders, solidarity movement leaders, community activists, and legal counsel. Twenty-six of the interviews are transcribed. The fonds also includes newspapers and newsclippings, essays, publications, flyers, research notes, ephemera, a chronology of the solidarity movement, and a copy of Peter Poole's thesis.
