Ephemera

Series consists of various types of textual ephemera, including newspaper clippings, event programs and ticket stubs, curriculum vitae of other colleagues, as well as other personal mementos and textual material.

Maps

File contains fold-out maps of Rome and Greece, as well as hand drawn map with directions of the northern portion of Washington state.

File consists of book lists with call numbers for Harvard Library, as well as forms requesting books for outside use.

[Slides for courses]

File consists of several hundred photographic slides utilized by Blaser in his courses; many relating to William Blake and American Romanticism. Blaser’s notes describing the slides are also enclosed.

[Family photographs]

File contains print photographs of Blaser’s family. Consists of the following items: MsA 1.1177-1.1178; MsA 1.1224-1.1253.

Color slides

Sub-series consists of slides of Blaser and friends as well as interior and exterior images of Blaser’s house on Trafalgar Street in Vancouver, B.C. Also includes slides that were utilized by Blaser in his teachings.

Research articles

Series consists of photocopied scholarly articles used by Blaser for personal and academic research.

Conference material

Series consists of material related to poetry conferences attended by Blaser. Records include essays, poems, correspondence, pamphlets, and newspaper clippings. Series is divided into the following two sub-series: Recovery of the Public World, 70th birthday conference; and General conferences.

Posters

File consists of event posters for art, poetry, music, and play performances held at the Vancouver Art Gallery, University of British Columbia’s Fine Arts Gallery, Western Front, and other locations.
