Records in the fonds include correspondence, grant applications, collective meeting minutes, budgets and annual financial reports. Communications and promotional materials include press releases, brochures, and posters.

Fonds consists of records documenting Timothy Taylor's work as a writer of fiction in Vancouver, B.C. Records consist of project notes, correspondence, drafts of both Stanley Park and Story House and workbooks for novels. Fonds consist of items related to the process of selecting, accepting, and editing manuscripts for journal publications dating from 1993 to 2006. This includes annotated envelopes from submitted material, publication agreement forms, correspondence between the contributor and the Collective members, artist and author biographies, self addressed stamped envelopes, artwork reproductions, submitted manuscripts in both electronic and hardcopy format, edited publication proofs, editors’ notes and internal correspondence, and published copies of the completed volumes. The Collective’s activities were conducted in Vancouver, British Columbia although submissions were accepted from women internationally.

The fonds consist of materials that relate to Twigg’s work as a writer, publisher and cofounder of the B.C. Book Prizes in the years 1975 to 2008. The fonds is arranged in 14 series: Correspondence; Political Campaign and Poetry of Bud Osborn; Vancouver Theatre; Television Interviews; Twigg’s Book Research; George Woodcock’s Translation of Proust; Audio Cassette Interviews; Transcripts of Interviews; Authors’ Photographs and Negatives; Special Items; B.C. Materials include incoming and outgoing correspondence, taped television interviews, transcripts of television interviews, drafts of Twigg’s literary works, an unpublished manuscript of George Woodcock’s translation of Proust, audio cassette interviews, transcripts of interviews, photographs, banners, awards, legal documents, financial records, notes and newspaper and magazine clippings of Twigg’s published articles.

The fonds consists mainly of items related to Gaston's writing activities dating from 1981. It includes hand-written and word-processed correspondence between Gaston and friends, editors, publishers, and other writers; galley copies, published copies, manuscripts and drafts of unpublished and published books, articles, short stories, plays, radio plays, reviews, and poems; clippings and photocopies of reviews of Gaston's work; pen and ink drawings by Gaston; author photographs, contact sheets, and negatives; miscellaneous notes by Gaston on his work, thoughts, and readings; notes and memos related to Gaston's work as a teacher; an address book; a VHS video tape; promotional materials for Gaston's books and public appearances at readings and festivals; and ephemera such as tourism brochures.

The materials were received from the creator in two accessions. The first accession consisted of 12 boxes containing records of Gaston's work and writing from 1981 to 2005, including materials relating to all his published works up to Sointula (2004). The second consisted of five boxes containing materials relating mostly to the period from 2006 to 2008, covering the creation and publication of Midnight Hockey (2006), Gargoyles (2006), and The Order of Good Cheer (2008). The creator had arranged the materials in the fonds generally by individual work, and this arrangement has been maintained. Original file titles, where available, have also been retained. The fonds consists of drafts of manuscripts of poetry, essays and articles, short fiction, scripts, and novels, originals and reproductions of publications in which Turner's and other author's works have appeared, clippings of reviews and articles about Turner and his published works, and other records and ephemera related to Turner's writing, editing, and publishing activities and projects. It also contains photographs, notes, clippings, correspondence, audio and digital recordings, ephemera and press materials related to Turner's musicianship, including his stint in the Hard Rock Miners. The fonds consists of promotional materials, most notably full-colour posters, surrounding the shortlisting and adjudication of potential winners and the subsequent selection and celebration of winners of the prestigious prizes. Also included are media clippings and press releases surrounding the event.

Fonds illustrates George Stanley’s work as a poet in San Francisco, New York, Vancouver, and Terrace, spanning from the late 1950s to the present. Fonds also documents Stanley’s interactions with the broader literary scenes, including publishers and other writers. Fonds contains drafts and manuscripts of articles, short fiction, scripts, and novels, as well as originals and reproductions of Coady’s publications, notebooks, reviews and articles about Coady and her work, and other records related to Coady’s writing and editing activities and projects. The fonds is arranged in four series: Writing and editing ([199-]-2011); Publicity ([199-]-2011); Personal ([199-?-2010?]); and Correspondence (1999-2006).

Fonds consists of correspondence, scripts, screenplays, newsletters, articles, films and other records created or accumulated by Norman Klenman over the course of his career as a journalist, film and television writer and producer, and the joint owner of the CKVU television station. The records include draft and final version scripts and screenplays and related records for radio, television, and film (both produced and unproduced). Also included is correspondence, agreements and financial and project-related records of various production companies of which Klenman was a joint owner, in particular Galanty Productions Limited (Galanty Limited). The fonds also contains some personal records; these include correspondence pertaining to Klenman’s career, as well as articles and other writings by Klenman. The records have been arranged into the following six series: Personal records (2002-2010); Articles and general writings (1986-2006); Business files (1952-2004); General scripts, screenplays and related records ([ca. 1946]-2010); Television scripts, screenplays and related records (1956-2010); Film scripts, screenplays and related records (1953-2008); and CKVU records (1958-2011).

The collection reflects Rimmer’s career as a designer, illustrator, printer, and publisher, and his involvement with members of the printing community and various associations. Records document Rimmer’s graphic design, typeface design and printing processes and accomplishments, and the publication activities of Pie Tree Press. The extensive graphic material within the collection includes sketches, drawings and prints. Also included are Rimmer’s linocut and woodcut blocks, as well as master patterns, specimen castings, matrices, lead working patterns, and cast metal sorts for many of his metal typefaces.
