Fonds consists of records documenting the business activities of Nunaga Publishing and its president, Rick Antonson. Fonds is divided into the following sub-series: Corporate records (1973-1988); Book and magazine project files (1970-1980); Sales and distribution records (1974-1983); Correspondence (1973-1984); Submissions and proposals (1974-1979); Government and book information files (1974-1980); Publicity and related records (1973-[1994]); and Douglas & McIntyre files (1977-2006).

The fonds consists primarily of records relating to the business activities of Press Gang Printers; it also includes some records arising from the collective's participation in the British Columbia Federation of Women. Activities and events documented include incorporation, the evolution of Press Gang's organizational structure, and the separation of the printing and publishing operations; collective and committee meetings; administration and unionization; financial management, grant and loan applications, and fundraising; liaison with other organizations in the women's movement and in other social movements; production and press work; marketing and promotion; and the financial difficulties leading to the closure of Press Gang in 1993.

Record types includes articles of incorporation; correspondence and reports; meeting agendas, minutes and supporting papers; collective agreements; photographs; ledgers, financial statements, income tax returns, and annual reports; printing samples (newsletters, newspapers, leaflets, brochures, posters, cards and other graphical material); production logbooks and customer accounts; and a Press Gang quilt.

The negatives depict Hudson in his shops in Vancouver (Cambie Street and later Marine Drive), as manager of the Kingait print cooperative at Kinngait (previously Cape Dorest), and socializing in Vancouver, Burnaby and Powell River.

Collection consists of two scrapbooks. One scrapbook contains newspaper clippings and other material that documents the Abortion Caravan to Ottawa in 1970. The second scrapbook documents Janiel Jolley as a protest candidate of the Simon Fraser Student Society for Miss Canadian University Beauty.

Collection consists of digital copies of a complete run of The Pedestal, a feminist periodical published by the Vancouver Women's Caucus and edited by the Pedestal collective. The periodical referred to itself as a women's liberation newspaper and later as a lesbian-feminist newspaper; it published non-fiction, personal stories, poetry, reviews, letters to the editor, news of the women's movement, informational resources, a dream page and a calendar of events. It was distributed to individual subscribers, women's groups and sold by members at demonstrations and political events, and was available at bookstores and other locations around Vancouver. The Pedestal engaged in debates with members and readers over homosexuality, socialism and relationships with men, and addressed political issues such as abortion, childcare, education, anti-imperialism and patriarchy.

In 1970 Candace Parker was a member of the Vancouver Women's Caucus and a graduate student at the University of British Columbia. For a sociology class, Parker and Sibylle Klein wrote an essay, "Developing An Ideology: the Feminist Movement in North America," which drew upon Parker's experiences in Women's Caucus. Candace Parker was also interviewed by Frances Wasserlein and the transcript of that interview is contained in the Frances Wasserlein fonds, F-162.

Collection consists of 16 mm film, transcripts, master audio recordings and audio cassettes. These records form part of the production elements used by Stanley Fox and Aquarian Productions to produce Series Two of Gestalt Sessions with Fritz Perls, filmed in 1969 and edited in 1972. Films are introduced by Dr. Karl. E. Humiston, and record psychotherapy sessions between Perls and volunteer patients that took place over five days and 55 hours in 1969.

The fonds is comprised of the records of Ariel Books and a number of subject files compiled or collected by Margo Dunn. Records reflect Margo Dunn's business interest as owner of Ariel Books, and her role as collector of the records of the Vancouver women's movement.

The fonds consists of records created and received in the course of the formation, establishment and operation of the union, primarily during the period 1976-1987. The records reflect the initial drive to charter, organize and certify the union; the internal administration of the union, including elections and finance; negotiations with the administration to establish and renew contracts; efforts to maintain, expand, represent and inform the membership; participation in the provincial organization of the Association of University and College Employees and cooperation with other AUCE locals, and other unions; and involvement in industrial action. Also included are records of the Graduate Students' union, a forerunner, though not direct predecessor, of TSSU. The records include the charter and bylaws; committee agendas and minutes; financial statements; correspondence; membership lists; election materials; reports; negotiation minutes and collective agreements; mediation and hearing records; convention minutes; strike materials; publications and publicity materials. The records as received had no obvious overall arrangement. Duplicate material has been removed where practicable, but the mixed nature of the files requires researchers to be prepared to search for records on matters of interest.

Collection consists of records collected by Robert McDonald while he was living and working as a journalist in Greece. The bulk of the documents and publications reflect the period from 1967 to 1974, while Robert McDonald was a correspondent for the BBC. The collection also contains background material relating to the war years 1940-45, the civil war period, the invasion of Cyprus, and restoration of Greek Democracy. These historically sensitive items document the political events of Greece in the form of personal notes, manuscripts, newspapers, magazines and interview tapes. Some highlights include: The resistance organizations' secret circulars; political prisoners' signed documents; and tapes that contain unpublished interviews with Evangelos Averoff - a key figure in the movement to overthrow the military dictatorship. Later materials include research and reports on economic subjects such as the evolution of Greek industry during the period of accession to the Eurozone and first eight years of participation, the competitiveness of the Greek economy, and materials related to Cyprus.
