Grant applications

Sub-series consists of grant applications and supporting materials submitted by filling Station Publications Society to granting organizations such as the Canada Council for the Arts and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.

"The Given" records

Sub-series consists of drafts, permissions forms, notes, articles, correspondence, and other related records pertaining to Marlatt's prose poem "The Given," published in 2008.

"At the River's Mouth: Writing Migrations" records

Sub-series consists of records relating to "At the River's Mouth: Writing Migrations," a lecture given by Daphne Marlatt as the Ralph Gustafson Distinguished Visiting Poet at Vancouver Island University. The lecture was later published as a book (designed by Robert Bringhurst) by the Institute for Coastal Research at Vancouver Island University. Records include correspondence and lecture drafts.

This sub-series consists of various writings by the Doukhobor individuals or about the Doukhobor community and their beliefs. The documents in this sub-series include: essays, poems, dairies, notebooks, articles, text of songs, speeches, reports, messages, clippings and other writings.

Drafts, proofs and edits

This sub-series contains records relating to the conceptualization and development of the textual content of “A Flag for Canada”. Record types include print-outs, correspondence and notes.

Artwork by other artists

Sub-series consists of drawings, sketches, collages, and prints by other artists, a number of whom are friends and acquaintances of Peter Trower, including Jack Wise, Bus Griffiths, Godfrey, and Karen Severson. Includes several portraits of Trower.

Photographs

Sub-series consists of photographs relating to various expeditions, trips, and projects, created or compiled by James Delgado throughout his professional career. Photographs depict shipwrecks, dives, exhibits, and events at the Vancouver Maritime Museum. Records included print photographs, contact sheets, and negatives.

Outgoing correspondence

Sub-series consists of outgoing correspondence from Blaser to family, friends, and colleagues. Material includes handwritten and typed correspondence, as well as facsimile and email correspondence.

Published stories - general records

Sub-series consists of records relating to the writing and publishing of Flood’s stories that appeared in individual magazines or journals. Records include drafts, correspondence with publishers, contracts and notebooks. Sub-series also includes six publications in which Flood’s stories are printed: "Wascana Review" (1968); "Quarry" (1980); "Room Of One's Own" (1981); "Makara" (1976); "Baker's Dozen" (1984); and "Makara" (1978).

Correspondence

Sub-series contains correspondence relating to Delgado's writing activities, including the publication of books and articles. Also contains some correspondence relating to projects Delgado participated in, such as the Sutro Heights Park and USS Mississinewa projects.

Editorial records

Sub-series consists of records relating to Wah's editorial activities. Wah has worked as both an editor of various literary periodicals, and has also edited the poetry manuscripts of friends, colleagues, and peers. Records include correspondence, works of others, and administrative records.

Subseries contains magazines, photocopies, books, exhibit catalogues and film festival guides.

Financial records

Sub-series consists of records documenting the financial operation of housepress, including invoices, bank statements, bank books, check stubs, notices of assessment, and receipts.

Poems

Sub-series consists of handwritten, typed, and photocopied poems written by Blaser.

Festival promo films

Subseries consists of recordings of commercials for the film festival, of television coverage of the film festival, and of interviews with IMAG members promoting the film festival.

Sub-series consists of records relating to Series consists of records relating to the various residencies and related programs that Wah has participated in during his career. Wah has participated in several residencies throughout his career, including being a writer-in-residence at the University of Alberta from 1988-1989, and at Simon Fraser University from 2006-2007. He has also participated in residencies at the Banff Centre for the Arts. Records include correspondence, promotional materials, and administrative records.

Sub-series consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence between Blaser and family, friends, and colleagues. Material includes handwritten and typed correspondence, as well as facsimile correspondence. Additional material includes sketches, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, and other textual material sent to Blaser.
