Senate Policy Committee on Scholarships, Awards and Bursaries (SPCSAB)

This sub-series consists of the Associate Vice-President, Academic's working files as a committee member of SPCSAB. It also includes several files relating to SPCSAB's predecessor (SCSAB). Records include agendas, minutes, correspondence, reports, statistics, and notes and working papers.

Serials

This sub-series consists of single or multiply issues of the serials, magazines and journals. Some of the general serials contain only a single article relating to the Doukhobors. Other serials such as Iskra and Vestnik are published by the Doukhobor community themselves and are dedicated to the matters of the Doukhobors entirely.

SF Week, SFU News

SFU Newsletter and News Bulletin appeared for 38 issues from January 1966 to October 1966, when they were superceded by SFU Week as Issue No. 39. It functioned as a weekly calendar of events on campus. In February 1975 SFU Week adopted a new format combining the old weekly calendar of events and some features of the monthly Takkali. SFU Week also included feature articles about people and events.

SFU Week became Simon Fraser News in 1994. On September 21, 2000, Simon Fraser News became Simon Fraser University News.

SFU correspondence

Sub-series consists of correspondence reflecting the relationship between McTaggart-Cowan and Simon Fraser University. Includes records that reflect his tenure as president, his resignation, the granting of an honourary degree in 1972, and his continued involvement with the university.

Sub-series consists of records relating to Fellman's teaching at SFU. Courses documented are:

Files also include a 1986 proposal for a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program (Fellman would become Director of the graduate program in Liberal Studies in 2000). Records include program proposals; course outlines and descriptions, reading lists, and exam questions; offprints and reference materials; lectures and lecture notes.
