The series consists of various printed materials, mostly newspaper articles. There is one illustrated advertisement for an up-coming speaking tour, but the other items are mostly tributes relating to the life and death of E. Pauline Johnson.

The series consists primarily of photographs relating to Stanley Park and the burial site of E. Pauline Johnson. All but one hand-coloured photo postcard are black and white images, most have notes written on the reverse which approximately date the series between about 1905-1913. One postcard can only be dated to after-1922 because that is the year the stone memorial was built. Pauline's sister Evelyn is thought to have written some of the identifying information on the reverse of some images, and features in at least one of them.

The collection consists of photographic images and printed materials relating to the life and death of E. Pauline Johnson. Some of the material is associated with her sister, Evelyn Johnson, but the provenance and nature of compilation is largely unknown.

Fonds consists of manuscripts, page proofs, editorial and general correspondence, contracts, promotional and biographical materials. Included in the fonds are archival materials for Vi Plotnikoff's Head Cook at Wedding and Funerals (1994), first collection of Doukhobor short stories published and the first widely published literary writings by a Doukhobor woman, and George Elliott Clarke's poem-novel Whylah Falls (1990), later adapted for the stage and film, along with materials related to the publication of other works in Polestar's catalogue.

Fonds consists of records documenting the establishment of the filling Station Publications Society in Calgary, Alberta, in 1993, and its ongoing business editing and publishing "filling Station" magazine, individual chapbooks and hosting literary events. Fonds is arranged into the following six series: Administrative records (1993–2008); Financial records (1993–2008); Marketing files (1993–2002); Editorial files (1995–2004); Event files (1993–2001); and Chapbooks (1993–2006).

Fonds consists of radio play-scripts and production scripts by David Brock, Peter Garvie, John Gray, Peter Haworth, Daryl Hine, Herbert Hosie, Betty Lambert, Robert Lowell, Gerald Newman, Norman Newton, Jean Racine, George Ryga, George Robertson, Frederick Spoerly, Ian Thorne, and George Woodcock and incidental music score manuscripts for two productions. Audio-cassettes are line-source copies of master tapes of drama radio programs and music radio programs produced by Gerald Newman.

The fonds consists of correspondence (inward and outward), daily calendars, manuscripts and working papers, Canada Council applications and correspondence, personal papers (including diaries of travels, tax records, notebooks, and copies of Gilbert's writings in his high school newspaper), and reference files and material. The fonds includes records (manuscripts, correspondence, etc.) of Gilbert's literary journal, "B.C. Monthly", and records including photographs) of the New Era Social Club, an artists' studio/living space in Vancouver; and audiotapes of radiofreerainforest shows.
