Fonds consists of records related to the life and creative work of Peter Trower in his activities as a poet, prose writer, cartoonist, and musician. Fonds also includes records pertaining to Trower's collaborative projects with Yvonne Klan, as well as works by other authors and artists that were accumulated by Trower. Records include poetry and prose manuscripts, drafts and outlines, movie scripts, journals, notebooks, correspondence, business records, photographs, articles, cartoons and other drawings, awards, certificates, and sound and video recordings.

Fonds consist of materials relating to Kiyooka's work as an artist and writer, principally correspondence and other writings. Also included are photographs, photomontages, financial records, teaching notes, audiotapes and other material.

The collection reflects Rimmer’s career as a designer, illustrator, printer, and publisher, and his involvement with members of the printing community and various associations. Records document Rimmer’s graphic design, typeface design and printing processes and accomplishments, and the publication activities of Pie Tree Press. The extensive graphic material within the collection includes sketches, drawings and prints. Also included are Rimmer’s linocut and woodcut blocks, as well as master patterns, specimen castings, matrices, lead working patterns, and cast metal sorts for many of his metal typefaces. The collection is arranged into nine series: Correspondence (1930-2010, predominant 1978-2010); Subject files (1938, 1956-[2009?]); Pie Tree Press publications and related material ([ca. 1978-2009]); Typeface design ([1971-2010]); Commercial work (1960-2009); Art prints and illustrations ([1970-2010]); Promotional and advertisement material ([197-?]-2008); Works by others regarding Jim Rimmer (1982-2012); and General photographs (1961-2002).

Fonds consists primarily of records related to Robert Jackson's political interests and activities. Included are many original and reproduced documents from labour events in the 1930s, particularly the On to Ottawa trek but including information on other labour-related events and figures, including the Spanish Civil War and the unionism in primary resource industries. The fonds also includes many records gathered by Jackson in the 1980s and 1990s in his work commemorating the On to Ottawa trek and participating in labour-related events. It contains newsletters, bulletins and other publications, newspaper clippings, essays, and articles, correspondence, recollections and testimonials, obituaries, notes from speaking engagements, leaflets, posters, press releases, petitions, minutes, financial records, project proposals, a script, work documents, certificates, legal documents, photographs, and other records related to Jackson's political life. The file level arrangement of this fonds is based on an arrangement established in 2001 by David Yorke who undertook to order Jackson's paper by subject. The order in which Jackson kept his records is unknown. The fonds is arranged in four series: On to Ottawa Trek (1934-2000); Labour history subject files (1933-2000); Memorials (1985-2000); and Photographs ([193-?]-2000).

The fonds consists of records created by Duke from approximately 1946 to 2006. They are related to all aspects of Duke’s life and career. Among other types of records, the fonds includes:

The fonds also contains some personal records; these include correspondence pertaining to Klenman’s career, as well as articles and other writings by Klenman. The fonds contains manuscripts, correspondence, journals, documents related to provincial and national writers organizations and documents related to the founding and running of Caitlin Press, The Poem Factory/Usine de Poeme, and Coracle Press including correspondence, manuscripts, promotional materials, and business records. Also includes papers related to Zonailo's academic work at various universities, as well as personal memorabilia, phonograph recordings and audio-cassettes of Zonailo's poetry set to music, video-cassettes, musical scores, literary periodicals, books by other authors (mostly inscribed to Zonailo), poetry broadsides, chapbooks, and ephemera. Records related to Zonailo's work as a member or the planning committee of the C.G. Jung Society of Montreal and editor of its newsletter are also included as well as correspondence, periodicals, graphic materials, and other records related to astrology.

Fonds illustrates George Stanley’s work as a poet in San Francisco, New York, Vancouver, and Terrace, spanning from the late 1950s to the present. Fonds also documents Stanley’s interactions with the broader literary scenes, including publishers and other writers. Fonds is divided into seven series: Correspondence (1967-2007), George Stanley poems and other writings (1957-2011), Works of other writers ([ca.1957]-2011), Literary events and publication (1972-2011), Personal documents (1972-1990), Photographs of George Stanley and associates (1964-1983).
