The fonds consists of 16 audio cassette tapes, with a total of 10 interviews, conducted by poet Barry McKinnon of Prince George B.C. for a special issue of the Toronto magazine Open Letter on B.C. Fonds also contains a grant proposal, correspondence, notes, drafts, and layouts related to producing the work. B.C. Poets and Print appeared in Open Letter (Seventh series, nos. 2-3) in 1988.

Fonds consists of materials documenting mainly the personal life of the Halpern family but also includes some records relating to George's and Fanny's scientific and professional interests. Activities and topics documented include the Halperns' emigration to Canada, George's scientific research and business enterprises, his work with Brock House (a senior citizen's centre), Ida's community interests, and Fanny's medical career in China.

The fonds consists of records made and received by Tom Mallinson in his role as a professor and as a consultant for outside organizations. Includes correspondence, lectures and publications.

The fonds consists primarily of records created during the writing of Wasserlein's MA thesis at SFU, "An Arrow Aimed at the Heart": the Vancouver Women's Caucus and the Abortion Campaign, 1969-1971, completed in 1990. The fonds also contains records related to other research Wasserlein was involved in, specifically her work with the UBC research project on non-academic women in 1979, and her application for a Canada Council grant in support of her own research project in 1982. Fonds includes taped interviews, transcripts, notes, drafts, correspondence, published materials, periodicals, and photographs. No records exist related to Wasserlein's activities with the Vancouver Folk Music Festival.

Fonds consists of concert ephemera, posters, promotional material, photographs, correspondence, and audio recordings created and collected by Heather Haley. Records illustrate her involvement in the Vancouver punk scene, including her bands the Zellots, and the 45s. Other notable members from Vancouver punk bands are represented in the photographs and ephemera collected by Haley.

Collection consists of records relating to Vivien Leong's activities as a member of the Simon Fraser Public Interest Research Group (SFPIRG) Recycling Group and a member of the Communications Student Union. Collection includes agendas, minutes, correspondence, publications, posters, anti-calendars, and other documents.

The fonds consists of the audiocassettes for eleven interviews conducted by Gerry Scott for his thesis.

Fonds consists of 89 scrapbooks relating to Grace McCarthy and her career as a politician within the British Columbia Social Credit party. Scrapbooks contain photographs, correspondence, newspaper clippings, magazine articles, press releases, ephemera, and other material dating from 1960 to 1991.

The scrapbooks document the political landscape of British Columbia from 1968 to 1991, in particular the activities of the Social Credit party; events, initiatives, and causes in Vancouver and provincially; state visits; McCarthy's viewpoint on particular issues; her political and charitable activities; leadership campaigns; and her personal and political relationships. They also document McCarthy's most notable accomplishments, including bringing Expo '86 to Vancouver, establishing SkyTrain as a rapid transit system, driving the construction of the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre, and the lighting of the Lions Gate Bridge. Includes correspondence with other politicians at the provincial, national and international level, including W.A.C. Bennett and Margaret Thatcher; her constituents, residents of British Columbia, and party members; and the business community.

Fonds consists of materials related to the production and publication of the multimedia and literary arts zine called Rattler, including correspondence, photographs, publicity, drafts and original layouts, artwork, related posters and zine publications, poetry submissions, and copies of the published zines. Fonds also includes t-shirts that were produced to promote the zine, and one file of original layouts created by Heather Haley for the poetry section of LA Weekly.

The fonds consist of records created, received, and collected by the Simon Fraser University Faculty Association in carrying out its functional activities. Includes records relating to its Constitution and by-laws, policy development, correspondence, general and special meetings, the executive committee, standing and ad hoc committees, and publications.

The fonds consists of correspondence written by Waddington to Allan Donaldson. It also includes 1 letter from Allan Donaldson and 1 file of correspondence with John Smallbridge regarding Waddington's participation in a poetry and drama colloquium at Althouse College of Education. The Smallbridge correspondence includes 2 black and white photographs of Waddington.

The fonds consists of correspondence and manuscripts including the corrected manuscript of an unpublished novel "The Black Nightingale" two published novels, a group of short stories and a radio play.

The Pacific Socialist Education Association’s Pacific Tribune Photograph Collection comprises over 40,000 35-mm images taken for the weekly Vancouver labour newspaper Pacific Tribune. The images cover a twenty-year period, from 1972 to 1992, one of the most active periods in British Columbia’s labour history.
Included in the collection are images from some of the most tumultuous events involving British Columbia’s labour movements:

• the province-wide campaign against insurance rate increases introduced by the new Social Credit government in 1976
• the opposition to federal wage controls that culminated in a one-day national work stoppage in 1976
• the historic Solidarity movement in 1983
• labour’s campaign — that also included a one-day work stoppage in 1987 — against government legislation that severely curtailed the right to organize unions and bargain collectively

The collection is also a rich source of images from political and other social movements, including:

• rallies and campaigns for human rights
• internationally recognized Vancouver walks for peace during the mid-1980s
• anti-poverty and housing movements
• womens' rights
• First Nations' movements
• environmental campaigns

Collection consists of records reflecting the administration, organization and activities of AUCE #2 as well as AUCE's provincial organization. Includes constitution, by-laws, articles of agreement, contracts, financial statements, reports, correspondence, memoranda, ephemera, newsletters, handbooks, and bulletins.

The fonds consists of correspondence (inward and outward), daily calendars, manuscripts and working papers, Canada Council applications and correspondence, personal papers (including diaries of travels, tax records, notebooks, and copies of Gilbert's writings in his high school newspaper), and reference files and material. The fonds includes records (manuscripts, correspondence, etc.) of Gilbert's literary journal, "B.C. Monthly", and records including photographs) of the New Era Social Club, an artists' studio/living space in Vancouver; and audiotapes of radiofreerainforest shows.

The collection consists of agendas and minutes from the Women's Studies Coordinating Committee and the Women's Studies Graduate Committee. The latter file also contains a copy of Wilson's 1972 report, "Women at Simon Fraser University."

The fonds consists of manuscript, galleys, and corrected proofs for the book Rational Geomancies, edited by McCaffery and bpNichol (Talonbooks, 1992).

The fonds is comprised of the records of Ariel Books and a number of subject files compiled or collected by Margo Dunn. Records reflect Margo Dunn's business interest as owner of Ariel Books, and her role as collector of the records of the Vancouver women's movement.

Fonds consists of records arising from Klaus Rieckhoff's teaching and research activities as well as records made and received by Rieckhoff as an elected member of the SFU Senate, Board of Governors, and various faculty, departmental, and university committees. Records include correspondence, memos, notes, publications, reports, lists, minutes, and evaluations.

The fonds consists primarily of records relating to the business activities of Press Gang Printers; it also includes some records arising from the collective's participation in the British Columbia Federation of Women. Activities and events documented include incorporation, the evolution of Press Gang's organizational structure, and the separation of the printing and publishing operations; collective and committee meetings; administration and unionization; financial management, grant and loan applications, and fundraising; liaison with other organizations in the women's movement and in other social movements; production and press work; marketing and promotion; and the financial difficulties leading to the closure of Press Gang in 1993.

Record types includes articles of incorporation; correspondence and reports; meeting agendas, minutes and supporting papers; collective agreements; photographs; ledgers, financial statements, income tax returns, and annual reports; printing samples (newsletters, newspapers, leaflets, brochures, posters, cards and other graphical material); production logbooks and customer accounts; and a Press Gang quilt.

The majority of the records of Sono Nis Press from 1968 to 1976 are at the National Library of Canada under the J. Michael Yates fonds. Since Sono Nis was taken over by Morriss Printing in 1976, all archival records have been retained. Current records (approximately 1989 to 1993) include editorial files, production files, association files, awards and promotions information, and financial records. The archival records (1976 to approximately 1988) include financial records, editorial files, production files, and correspondence. All art work, design work, and printing plates for every book have been retained in the fonds along with two copies of each book published by Sono Nis Press.

This fonds contains writings, notebooks, scores, computer software, photographic materials, audio and video recordings, two synthesizers, a computer and other material relating to the life experiences and creative output of Martin Bartlett. Most of the material dates from Bartlett’s active work life from 1965-1993, although there is some information from his early life, 1940-1965. The contents of the fonds have been divided into 11 distinct series representing different aspects of his life. One series (9: Compositions) has been divided into three sub-series determined by the type of material (scores, computer programs, and recordings).
