This file consists of photocopy of drawings depicting Piers Island penal institution where the Sons of Freedom were detained between the years 1932-1934. Drawings depict prison building complex inside and outside, as well as scene with the police taking away the children. Most drawing are dated in 1934. Drawing are signed by Joe Chernoff, Nicolai W. Grimiakin (Hrimakin?), A.W. Efanoff, This file also contains a report by Grace Berisoff titled “Abduction of the Sons of Freedom children by the Canadian Government in 1932” and a copy of letter from the BC Police Commissioner to Warden of the BC Penitentiary in New Westminster, BC.
