Computing committees

Sub-sub-series consists of records relating to the activities and deliberations of university committees with responsibilities for university computing policies, operations, and services. For the list of committee included in the sub-sub-series, see Access Points below. Records include correspondence, reports, and meeting agendas, minutes, and supporting papers.

Computing Services

Sub-sub-series consists of the Vice-President, Academic's correspondence with, related to, or copied from the Director of the Computing Services during the period when the Computing Services (prior to 1985 named Computing Centre) reported to the Vice-President, Research. Activities and topics documented include policy development, network planning, equipment and budget allocation, the microcomputer subsidy program, and the activities of the Large Scale Computing Review Committee (1987) and the Task Force on Distributed Computing (1991). Records consist predominantly of correspondence, with some reports.

Counselling Service

Sub-sub-series consists of records relating to the daily administration of the Counselling Service on campus and includes Dean's correspondence with the Office, brochures and posters produced by Counselling Service, user statistics and surveys, annual reports, and budget and staffing proposals. Records include correspondence, minutes, reports, working papers, financial statements, statistical reports, and publications.

Course development files

Sub-sub-series consists of records relating to the planning, administration, delivery, and evaluation of the course-work component of the PDP program and its modules. PDP course numbers fall in the 400 block: EDUC 401, 402, 405, 406, 407.

Records include course descriptions, workshop and project outlines, reports, proposals, evaluations, program information, orientation handbooks, reading lists, teaching material and guides, registration procedures, student lists, schedules, forms, questionnaires, notes, working papers, and correspondence.
