Clippings

This sub-series consists of photocopy of clippings and articles from newspapers and magazines as well as documents, writings, notes, cartoon drawings, statements that accompanied the clippings.

Climatic change

This sub-series contains various records related to the climate change concerns including its effects on soil, ozone, greenhouse gases, acid rains, etc. The majority of the documents consist of reports, news items and correspondence.

Clayoquot Sound

This sub-series contains records related to land use, resource management and protection of rainforest of Clayoquot Sound area on Vancouver Island. The records document interaction of Valhalla Society, agencies of the provincial government of BC, CORE, Nuu-chah-nulth Tribe, The Friends of Clayoquot Sound group and other involved groups.

Circular letters

This sub-series consists of circular letters to be read at an assembled meetings. The bulk of the letters dates between 1908-1911. Often they consist of direction from the CCUB, such as livestock to sell, when to clear the fields, or when to come to a meeting. The letters relate to the CCUB operation in British Columbia and Saskatchewan (Station Vering). The letters also deal with the logistics of the move to British Columbia. Most of the letters were issued on the Christian Community of Universal Brotherhood (CCUB) letterhead, but there are some without any letterhead and some on the Office of the Peter V. Verigin letterhead. Most of the letters are original mimeographs and only a few photocopies. All records are in Russian.

Chronological files

Sub-series consists of draft manuscripts of published and unpublished prose arranged into files by Trower according to year of creation. Includes drafts of fictional and non-fictional articles and short stories, some of which were published in the Coast News, Vancouver Magazine, Raincoast Chronicles, B.C. Logging, Business Logger, West Coast Logger, and Western Living. Also includes drafts of material subsequently included in Trower’s novels "Grogan’s Cafe," "Dead Man’s Ticket," and "The Judas Hills." Drafts often contain notes written by Trower at a later date in order to provide further information concerning the piece’s evolution and publication, or lack of publication.

Chronological correspondence

Sub-series consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence between Blaser and family, friends, and colleagues. Material includes handwritten and typed correspondence, as well as facsimile correspondence. Additional material includes newspaper clippings, poems, personal papers, and other textual material sent to Blaser.

Chapters, excerpts and articles

This sub-series consists of photocopy of chapters, articles, clippings and writings collected to support court cases that the Doukhobor community was involved and the research of the KCIR. The material in this sub-series relates to the Doukhobor history and their experiences in Canada, immigration and settlement, Doukhobor religious beliefs and their attitude to peace and avoidance of military service and their connection to the USSR. Most of records are in English and some in Russian.
