Nadine Boulay was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 2, 1987. She holds a BA (2011) in Women's Studies from the University in Winnipeg, and an MA (2014) in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies from Simon Fraser University. Her MA thesis, "Lesbian and Queer Generations in Vancouver: An Intergenerational Oral History Project," employs and explores cross-generational oral history interviewing as a pedagogical tool.
