History

Wil Hudson was a noted British Columbia typographer and letterpress fine printer. In Vancouver, in the 1960s he was known as Grouse Mountain Press, New Age Press, and "Wil Hudson, Printer". In the 1970s at Cape Dorset, NWT, he published a native language printing type with the West Baffin Eskimo Cooperative. Later, he settled in Powell River as a commercial printer until 1991. Hudson was involved in many of the Alcuin Society's first publishing projects. He died in Creston, B.C. on January 10, 2014.
