This sub-series consists of various documents relating to the Doukhobor owned land in British Columbia and in Saskatchewan, its use, management and development, land disputes with the CCUB, the Sons of Freedom, the USCC and the Canadian government, property taxes and legal matters. Documents in this sub-series include: applications and forms, property tax notices and eviction notices, land titles, land permits and licenses, correspondence, reports, statements, resolutions, legal notices, court proceedings and documents, maps, and clippings. The majority of the documents relate to the time period between 1950s-1980s, but many documents are accompanied by photocopies of earlier land documents from the time of early Doukhobor settlements in British Columbia and Saskatchewan. This file also includes many documents relating to the acquisition, development and use of land referred to as New Settlement Street in Krestova.

This sub-series consists of various publications and newspaper clippings that document various matters relating to the Doukhobor community and the organizations within the community such as the CCBRD, the USCC and the Sons of Freedom. Some of the documents relate to the Doukhobor relations with the Canadian government and their attitude toward the Soviet Union. Many publications in this file are created by the CCBRD, its Fraternal Council and some were created by the Investigative Symposium of the CCBRD. These publications contain often ranting, doctrinal, argumentative, historical, and political information and many are authored by Steve Lapshinoff. Some documents are in Russian and some in English. On occasion files contain copies of documents in both languages.

This sub-series consists of various documents that relate to the CCBRD operations and organizational agenda as well as to the Doukhobor community beliefs, ideology and history. Some documents in this sub-series focus on particular individuals, other relate to the whole community or specific organizations within the community, such as the USCC, the Sons of Freedom, the CCUB and K.I.C.R. This sub-series includes index of articles written about the Doukhobors between 1920s and 1980s.

This sub-series contains material on conditions and need for protection of watershed regions and their wild inhabitants in Canada. It documents plans and policies regarding management of river system and lakes in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Canada in general. Some records contain information on the management of fisheries. In addition, the sub-series contains records related to drinking water usage and water quality in British Columbia municipalities and rural areas. It documents government watershed policies and plans as well as their critiques. It also documents watershed policies and their relation to land use policies and forestry industries. Moreover, the sub-series contains records of the Endangered Wilderness campaign and protection of watershed regions in Canada. It contains correspondence, reports, newspaper clippings, articles, etc

In the early 1990, McCrory began travelling across Canada in a van and began creating a grassroot network of groups working on forest issues. These travels resulted in documenting of pulp and paper industry’s plans to increase the amount of logging taking place in Canada. This sub-series contains documents that resulted from the travel as well as other documents created and collected subsequently that contain records on logging practices and policies, reports on sensitive forest ecosystems and wildlife inhabiting these ecosystems across Canada, reports of pollution and specific pollutants created by pulp and paper industry, as well as general and in-depth forestry practices. The records contain information on softwood lumber companies, quotas and trade legislation and practices. In addition, this sub-series contains information, reports, data and lists related to corporations involved in forestry industry and various forestry regulation and agreements. The records were created and collected by VWS, other environmental activist organizations, involved government agencies, and corporations. The sub-series contains reports, articles, policies, clippings, correspondence, newsletters, brochures, data sheets, maps, corporate details and other material.
This sub-series is divided into sub-sub-series based on geographic location of the forestry and pulp mills: Canada, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta, World.

This sub-series documents the state of economy in Canadian provinces, specifically British Columbia and Alberta and the relation of economy to the forest and pulp industry. This sub-series contains corporate reports, reports of local economic councils and small business communities, government reports, academic and scientific analysis and proposals of alternative foundations and organization. This sub-series contains various reports, policies and recommendation of government agencies in relation to environment, forestry, land use, water and similar. Most of the records in this sub-series are related to the British Columbia government, and some records are related to the federal government of Canada and some to the government of the US.

This sub-series contains records related to Canadian based organization in general and some specific to the individual provinces, with the majority of records relating to BC organizations, including British Columbia Environmental Network that Colleen McCrory was involved in.

This sub-series consists of the various records relating to the USCC and its executive members and their relationship with members of the Doukhobor community and Doukhobor and other organizations. This sub-series contains records related to trips that the USCC executive members took as representative of the USCC, including trips to Russia and relationship of with Russian Government in early 1990 and 2000s and joint cultural projects, such as restaurant at Tolstoy's estate. It also includes records related to the Doukhobor community, youth and sport organizations, history of Doukhobor leadership and other records.

This sub-series consists of the various documents created by operations and activities of the CCUB and its executive members. Most of the documents relate to the legal aspects of the CCUB and Doukhobor community in terms of land holdings, loans, crops, population, attitude towards war, etc. Other documents relate to the administration and ideological structures of the CCUB and the community. Also included is a copy of the manuscript, What Matters: Writing 1968-70, by Daphne Marlatt, correspondence from Lionel Kearns, his CV and his filled in template for the publication, a list of Kearns’ published poetic works, an excerpt of his published works by Coach House, 1979, a transcription of a radio show featuring Lionel Kearns, a statement of poetics by Kearns, a photocopy of an introduction to Western Windows written by Lionel Kearns, a photocopy of “Writing Poetry,“ by Lionel Kearns, revisions for his poems, “Menace,” “Manitoulin Poem” and “Guatemala 1975.” Other record types include commentaries written by Lionel Kearns regarding his own work, a postcard featuring an image of Lionel Kearns newspaper clippings and reviews on Kearns. Coupey kept folders for each of the poets he was considering for this publication. Listed below are the names of each folder and the contents within each. The purpose of the publication was to create an anthology of major poetic works of British Columbia in the period between 1970 and 1980. The title, West Coast Poetry and Poetics: 1970-1980 was considered as the working title for the anthology. This project was part of Coupey’s half-year paid educational leave from Capilano College; the project was never brought to completion.
