Colour. An issue.

File consists of correspondence, notes, administrative and promotional materials relating to the spring 1994 issue of West Coast Line journal, entitled “Colour. An Issue,” which explored issues of race in Canada. Wah served as co-editor of the issue, along with Roy Miki.

Open Letter-Intervention issue

File consists of records relating to eighth series, number 5/6 of the journal “Open Letter,” entitled “Interventing the Text”: typescript pages of the journal, drafts/typescripts of the contributions, and related correspondence. The issue was guested-edited by Wah along with Susan Rudy Dorscht and Ashkor Mathur.

[Scree mailing list]

File consists of addresses for the “Scree” mailing list, a literary publication. Wah served as the editor of “Scree” from 1972-1974.

Floating bear list

File consists of lists of addresses relating to “The Floating Bear,” a poetry newsletter that ran from 1961 to 1971. When the magazine “TISH” was started at UBC in 1961, Diane di Prima and LeRoi Jones shared Floating Bear’s mailing list with the TISH editors.

SwiftCurrent : electronic literary magazine

File consists of materials relating to “SwiftCurrent,” an online journal edited by Wah and Frank Davey: correspondence, contributions, instructions for logging on, flyers, and news clippings.

Scree : little magazine

File consists of submissions of poems, many of which were published in Scree, as well as a few items of correspondence.

Series consists of records relating to Wah's non-instructional professional activities and service, including his editorial work, his service on various groups and committees, his work as a judge for various literary prizes, his applications for grants, and related activities. Records include correspondence, works of others, and administrative records.
