Recordings of interviews and events

Series consists of audiocassettes of a presentation on women's political activisim in Belgrade, Serbia, called "Voice of Difference" as well as a recording of CBC's The House, an interview with Studio 4, and the Women's Campaign School reception.

Eating fire

Series consists of sound recordings of interviews undertaken by Michael Riordon for Eating Fire: Family Life on the Queer Side (Between the Lines, 2001). Interviews were undertaken across Canada.

Completed community assessments

Series consists of records relating to visitations by JHS staff to the houses of people identified by an offender as a place, person or family of support once the offender is released on parole. Information includes names, birthdates, religious affiliation, race, gender, and general background information of the person or family being interviewed. Series is arranged chronologically.

Series consists of administrative records of the British Columbia Provincial Police Veterans’ Association, photographs of members at reunions and meetings, and records related to the association’s involvement in remembering the BCPP through museum exhibits and memorial plaques. Most of this material is contained in four scrapbooks of photographs, newspaper clippings, and ephemera.

Series consists of Al Neil’s personal papers, including employment, tax and medical records; "The Vancouver Sun" from June, 1944; photocopies of records documenting Neil’s military service; a bank statement; invoices; automobile insurance records; copies of artwork by Dory Curtis, Al Neil’s sister; newspaper clippings on the Mackenzie Cates cabin, and the curriculum vitae of Al Neil and Marguerite Neil.

Information captured in the reports includes personal names, birth dates, general background and current living / working / social conditions of people at the end of their time on parole. Series consists of various types of records relating to Wah's personal activities. Records include photographs, notes and course materials from his days as a university student, personal calendars, and records relating to Wah's 20th high school reunion.
