Grant applications

Sub-series consists of grant applications and supporting materials submitted by filling Station Publications Society to granting organizations such as the Canada Council for the Arts and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.

Faking it records

Sub-series consists of records such as writing drafts, correspondence, and research records relating to the book "Faking It: Critical Writing 1984-1999," published by NeWest Press in 2000. The book is a collection of Wah's writings, including poems, essays, reviews, journals, and notes.

Dead man’s ticket records

Sub-series consists records relating to Peter Trower's 1996 novel "Dead Man's Ticket." Records include manuscripts, editorial comments by John Moore, and publicity records.

Grogan’s cafe film records

Sub-series consists of records relating to a proposed film adaptation of Peter Trower’s novel "Grogan’s Cafe." Includes several versions of the film’s screenplay, as well as correspondence with New City Productions Inc., the company interested in producing the film.

Sub-series consists of newspaper articles, reviews, and poems, written by Peter Trower and published in the Coast News newspaper. Includes some original articles and some photocopied reproductions. Articles are often accompanied by explanatory comments added by Trower at a later date.

Sub-series documents general correspondence and submissions received by "filling Station" magazine in the 1990s.

"Four Modernist Women" course development records

Sub-series consists of records relating to Daphne Marlatt's English course "Four Modernist Women," taught at the University of Victoria and the University of Saskatchewan. Records include articles, lecture notes, syllabi, and other course material.

Markin-Flanagan residency records

Sub-series consists of records relating to the University of Calgary's Markin-Flanagan Distinguished Writers Program. The program was established in 1993, and includes two distinct streams: the Distinguished Visiting Writers, and the Writers-In-Residence. Wah served on the steering committee for the program, participated in the five-year review of the program in 1998 as well as the program's 10th anniversary in 2003. Records include internal correspondence, notes, and administrative records such as meeting minutes.

Valhalla publications

This sub-series contains various publication created by Valhalla Wilderness Society and its closely affiliated organizations to provide information and highlight environmental issues in the province of British Columbia as well as to highlight various campaigns to protect the wilderness that Valhalla organized. The publications were created by Valhalla Wilderness Society, Canada’s Future Forests Alliance, Citizens for Environmentally Responsible Government and Perry Ridge Water Users Association. The material includes bulletins, newsletters, flyers, brochures and newspaper format.

Sub-series consists of minutes and notes resulting from meetings of the filling Station Publications Society.
