Activities and topics documented include development, revision, interpretation, and reorganization of the university's academic policies and procedures, including appointment, faculty workload, and the harassment policy; faculty recruitment planning, leaves, sabbaticals, and retirements; the university's employment equity program and the activities and deliberations of the Salary Equity Study Committee and the Employment Equity Advisory Committee; faculty salaries and the activities of the Market Differential Advisory Committee (1991-1993) and the University Salary Appeals Committee (1992-1995); faculty renewal, tenure and promotion processes and the activities of the University Tenure Committee. Records include correspondence, reports, policies, drafts and working papers, faculty position authorizations, performance review statistics, questionnaires, meeting agendas and minutes, and university Compliance Review Reports by the SFU Employment Equity Coordinator.
