Series consists of the Associate Vice-President, Academic's correspondence with, related to, or copied from university academic faculties and departments, including the Faculties of the Arts, Education, Science, Applied Sciences, Business Administration, Continuing Studies, and Graduate Studies. Activities documented include budget planning, program and project proposals, fees, funding, and downtown campus planning. Records include correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, budgets, proposals, presentations, and brochures and other printed matter.

Series consists of records relating to the deliberations and activities of various Senate committees. With one exception – sub-series 4, the Senate Committee on Academic Discipline (SCAD) – the Associate Vice-President, Academic either chaired or participated on all of the committees represented by the sub-series. Records include meeting agendas, minutes, and supporting papers; and correspondence, reports, statistics, and notes and working papers.

Laurier LaPierre invested significant time contributing to various charities and organizations throughout his life. This series is comprised of records, primarily correspondence and reports, relating to is work with these entities. Some of these activities took place during his service as Senator, so related records can be found in Series 4: Records related to term in Senate and Series 6: Records related to public speaking engagements.

Due to the success of his broadcasting and writing careers, as well as his involvement with charitable organizations and service as a Senator, LaPierre was often called upon to speak at or chair events. This series, primarily correspondence, is comprised of records related to these engagements.

This series contains the various videotapes (and some cassettes and other multimedia formats) scattered throughout the collection. Some are professional copies, most are home recordings of various shows, most of which it is presumed LaPierre played a part or had an interest in.

This series consists of photographs created and received by the Woodsworth/MacInnis families. They are primarily posed studio portrait images, although photographs from later years tend to be photographs related to Grace MacInnis's political career.

The Capilano Review (TCR) was founded in 1971 by Pierre Coupey at Capilano College in North Vancouver. Its first issue appeared in 1972. The series consists of records generated from the publishing activities of The Capilano Review when Coupey was the founding editor from 1971-1976; editor 1989-1991; assistant editor 1987-1989, 2002, to committee member and now as a Board member. TCR provides a forum for experimental contemporary writings and poetry from notable writers and poets along with publishing artworks by artists from Canada, the US and other countries. Along with publishing the magazine, TCR also conducts interviews and hosts workshops, talks and panel discussions. In 2015, TCR parted from Capilano University to become an independent literary, art and poetry magazine. Records include, but are not limited to the following: correspondence, artwork submissions, research articles, Curricula Vitae (CVs) and biographies, interview transcriptions, marked proofs, newspaper articles, hand written notes, postcards and greeting cards, administrative records (agendas, minutes, memos and letters) for the Koerner Foundation Lecture Series, submissions from writers such as Sharon Thesen, Michael Ondaatje, Bill Schermbrucker, George Bowering, Phyllis Webb, Duncan McNaughton, and Jack Spicer, and correspondence from writers/poets such as Robin Blaser, Brian Fawcett, bp Nichol, Fielding Dawson, Audrey Thomas, Susan Musgrave, Rick Jones, Brian Fisher, Stan Persky and Guy Montpetit. Due to the takeover of the station by Global TV and the subsequent litigations, this series also contains various legal records including transcripts of court proceedings, settlement contracts, affidavits and subpoenas. This series also includes business correspondence and personal information regarding Duke's role within the organization.
