This sub-sub-series contains material related to forestry industry in British Columbia, specifically including records related to the following companies: Slocan Forest Products, Canfor, Omineca, and Celgar pulp mills. Many records relate to the forest management policies, logging quotas and statistics as well as legislation establishing the Allowable Annual Cuts. Some documents discuss the British Columbia situation in general and some discuss the specific geographic regions, such as Kootenays Vancouver Island, Northeast BC, etc. as well as specific forestry issues, such as old growth logging, timber supply and sales.
