Administrative history

Visible Verse is an annual videopoem festival founded in 1999 by Heather Haley, who curated and hosted the event at Pacific Cinematheque in Vancouver, B.C., until 2014. Ray Hsu took over as Visible Verse's Artistic Director in 2015.

Custodial history

Records were in the custody of Heather Haley, founder and curator of Visible Verse, prior to their acquisition by Simon Fraser University Special Collections and Rare Books.

Records consist of videotaped poetry performances and textual records relating to the annual Visible Verse videopoem festival held at Pacific Cinematheque in Vancouver, B.C.
