Beer periodicals

Series consists of Smith's collection of magazines, newsletters and newspapers covering the craft beer movement. Records include a run of issues of CAMRA Canada's What's Brewing newsletter from 1983-1989 (sub-series 1); two issues of CAMRA Calgary's newsletter (sub-series 2; 11 issues of the Northwest Brewing News (sub-series 3; and the first issue of the BC Craft News from 2013 (sub-series 4.

Beer festival and event files

Series consists of materials relating to beer festivals Smith attended or documentation he collected about them. Records includes festival guides, information sheets, posters, programs, maps and tickets. Events documented include the Vancouver and International Brewmasters Festivals, the Great Canadian Beer Festival, the Okanagan Fest-of-Ale, BC and Canadian Beer Awards ceremonies, the Canada Cup of Beer, local cask festivals and Vancouver's Craft Beer Week. Files are arranged chronologically by event.

This series is comprised of material collected by Ajaib reflecting his deep interest and involvement with Canadian professional football and, in particular, the BC Lions. Ajaib was one of the original 100 investors for the team in 1953 and became a lifelong season ticket holder.
The series is divided into 2 sub-series: Photographs and Textual records.

B.C. Fruit Growers' Association

Series consists of records compiled by W.A.C. Bennett as a member of the Transportation Committee of the B.C. Fruit Growers' Association. Included are mimeographed minutes, reports, circular letters (carbon copies), a few original letters and printed resolutions.

Series consists mainly of textual material pertaining to Duke's involvement with the Banff Television Festival. This series includes business correspondence, personal notes and information regarding Duke's contributions to adjudications and presentations within the organization.

Background research records

Series consists of records pertaining to Daphne Marlatt’s research for professional projects, including those created for her oral history project with Carole Itter, entitled "Opening doors - in Vancouver's East End: Strathcona", as well as for her general writing and teaching work. Records include oral history transcripts, photographs, transparencies, articles, and other research records.

This series was originally titled "Miscellaneous records". The title was changed and the contents slightly rearranged for better intellectual access. It consists of photocopies of Eden Robinson's university degress, as well as awards, prize information, publicity and newspaper clippings of reviews.

Series consists of records relating to the production of the annual Awards Ceremony and the Honour Roll Reception. Records include programs, books of words correspondence, publications, advisory committee minutes and other documents.

Series consists of correspondence, certificates, and promotional material relating to various awards and honours received by Peter Trower. Includes records relating to Trower’s receipt of a BC 2000 Book Award, the BC Gas Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002 and the Canadian Author’s Association Jack Chalmers Poetry Award in 2005. Series also includes records relating to his third place finish for the BC Book Prizes Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize in 2001 and his nomination for a 2003 ReLit Award in the poetry category.

Audio-visual records

This series consists of audio-visual recordings of performances of Krestova Youth Choir during the EXPO 1986 as well as audio recordings of singing and Sorokin’s speeches during his visit to the Doukhobor villages in British Columbia in 1954.
