U.S.S. Arizona/Pearl Harbor

File consists of correspondence (primarily from members of the United States Department of the Interior) and articles relating to Delgado’s work about the ship the U.S.S. Arizona, writings about the ship and the incident, the 50th anniversary commemoration of the event, and the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial, located at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The U.S.S. Arizona was the subject of a 2001 book by Delgado.

To California by sea

File consists of records relating the book “To California by Sea: A Maritime History of the California Gold Rush,” published in 1990 by the University of South Carolina Press. Records include correspondence between Delgado and publisher and the publishing agreement.
