Series consists of course outlines, reading lists, and descriptions of assignments for Faculty of Education courses. The bulk of the files relate to graduate courses offered by the faculty between 1978 and 1994. There are only three undergraduate courses documented: EDU202 (1965-1967), EDU489 (1987), and an early file relating to a Behavioural Science Foundations course (BSF424) from 1966.

Series consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence with family, friends, and colleagues. Material includes handwritten and typed correspondence as well as facsimile and email correspondence of both a personal and professional nature. Additional material includes enclosed contracts, poetry, and other textual records. The series is divided into five sub-series: Incoming correspondence; Outgoing correspondence; Alphabetical correspondence; Chronological correspondence; and General correspondence.

Series consists of correspondence of individuals other than Blaser, including poet Jack Spicer, artist Jess Collins, writer Stan Persky, Blaser’s partner David Farwell, Blaser’s mother Ina Blaser, Blaser’s maternal grandmother Sophia Auer, and other friends and family. Includes handwritten and typed correspondence as well as email correspondence. Series is divided into the following seven sub-series: Correspondence of Jack Spicer (1959-1962); Correspondence of Jess Collins ([196-?]-1967); Correspondence of Stan Persky (1963-1967); Correspondence of David Farwell (2006-2009); Correspondence of Ina Blaser (1919-1978); Correspondence of Sophia Auer (1916-1941); and General correspondence of others (1956, 1975).

Series consists of correspondence conducted by the Women's Centre with campus and off-campus individuals and organizations, including university administrators, the Simon Fraser Student Society, the Women's Studies Coordinating Committee, the Vancouver Status of Women, and the Women's Building Society of Vancouver. Activities documented include requests for information; support and participation in events and projects; funding proposals; and liaison with other groups and organizations. Series consists of records relating to Press Gang Printers' involvement in feminist and other social movements. Activities, events and topics documented include abortion, lesbian rights, unionism, political correspondence and letters of support, conferences, and liaison with other organizations. Records include correspondence, reports and photographs; reference material collected by Press Gang, including publications, newspapers, newsletters, and brochures; conference material; and notes and other working papers.

Series consists of records relating to historical enquiries made or received by Evans and his activities as an historical consultant on a number of projects.

Activities documented include design projects incorporating historical materials for brewpubs and breweries (Spinnakers and Moon Under Water in Victoria, Longwood in Nanaimo, the Vancouver Island Brewery); his work as historical interpretive consultant for the Arbutus Greenway Residential Project in Vancouver that redeveloped the old Vancouver Breweries site at 11th Ave. and Vine St. in 1999; a proposal to the BC Trade and Investment Office to develop a resource guide promoting BC brewing expertise to potential clients in Japan; and his correspondence with brewers, breweries, collectors, associations, and other brewing historians on topics relating to beer history.

Records includes correspondence, notes, and working papers; agreements, invoices, and work orders; brewery promotional material; copies of newspaper and periodical articles; copies of fire insurance plans (sections), historical photographs, and archival materials; and a copy of the Fall 1996 BCL Guide containing Evans' article "When Everything Old is New Again: The Tradition of Brewing in BC" (file 10).

Series consists of records relating to Beyerstein's personal and professional life. This includes correspondence with family, friends, colleagues, students, and organizations and committees; as well as collected cartoons, and copies of Beyerstein's obituaries that were included with the records.

Series includes correspondence between Peter Buitenhuis and various friends, colleagues, and peers—including Margaret Atwood, Timothy "Tiff" Findley, Northrop Frye, Thomas Wolfe, Adrienne Clarkson, Norman Holmes Pearson, Glynn Beard, Earle Birney, Anne Cameron, Joy Kogawa, Nigel Nicolson, Peter Such, Derek Martinus, Richard Stern, Betty Lambert, and Scott Symons (see files F-242-4-0-0-1 "Correspondence", F-242-4-0-0-2 "Correspondence: II L-Z," vol 1, and F-242-4-0-0-13 Scott Symons--please note that some original documents have been removed from the files and replaced with photocopies). Series also includes records relating to Buitenhuis's personal affairs, including financial records; party arrangements; church activities; and advocacy interests and involvement. Topics documented include the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) program "Ideas," publications and manuscripts by Buitenhuis as well as other authors, Ford Maddox Ford, the Public Lending Right Commission, West Coast Energy, and Park Royal Shopping Centre.

Records primarily consist of correspondence, but also include forms, a notebook, brochures, and reports.

Series documents the imprisonment of Sons of Freedom convicts at Piers Island Penitentiary between 1932 and 1934, from its initial stage in search for an island to set up the prison to determining the conditions for release of the prisoners. The records, the majority of which consist of correspondence between senior officials, shed light on the construction and management of the prison, as well as the problems that the federal prison system encountered regarding both personnel and prisoners.
Series consists of textual records including correspondence, telegrams, and memoranda, most of which were written to or by H. W. Cooper. The remainder of the records were created by other authorities, prisoners, and relatives of prisoners. Series also contains a warrant written by J. Cartmel and a chronology written in shorthand by H. W. Cooper. Also included in the series is an empty manila envelope. The records in this series have been arranged into the following three files: 1932; 1933; and 1934.

Series consists of records relating to Smith's involvement with and documentation of the BC craft beer movement. Records include correspondence, cards, invitations and event itineraries; records reflecting Smith's participation in CAMRA BC, including news releases, campaign materials, meeting agendas and supporting papers; and brewery brochures, publicity materials and information sheets.

This series primarily consists of correspondence with colleagues regarding research, specimens, equipment, publications and also solicitations from graduate students to study with Webster at SFU. Series consists of Bill Richards’ correspondence with colleagues, professional contacts, and students. Series includes incoming letters, copies of outgoing letters, and letters written by others on which Richards was copied reflecting requests for papers and publication submissions; software programs, manuals, and bug fixes; data sets and analyses; departmental issues; and general discussions about various topics related to Richards’ research interests and projects. There are also a few personal letters from friends interspersed throughout the series. Records primarily consist of correspondence, but also include invoices and receipts relating to the purchase of Richards’ software programs and manuals, as well as some newspaper clippings related to departmental issues.
