File contains copies of rejection letters for several novels that were sent to John Schaffner (her agent). The other novels (besides Tell it in Gath) that are mentioned are: The Diary of A. Carleon (The May Spoon), A Voice was Heard in Ramah, and A Visit from Mr. Anandas.

The title page says the novel is called "The Diary of A. Carleon" which is what the novel was originally called before it was published as "The May Spoon". It is also shorter in length than The May Spoon manuscript (MSC-80-0-1-1-0-27 and MSC-80-0-1-1-0-28).
