Dead man’s ticket film records

Sub-series consists records relating to a proposed film adaptation of Peter Trower’s novel "Dead Man’s Ticket." Records include a proposal and drafts of a screenplay.

"Winter/Rice/Tea Strain" records

Sub-series contains pages from the poetry chapbook "Winter/Rice/Tea strain" (2000), printed by Peter Haase (C & P Platen Press) and designed by Mona Fertig.

A ship called Destiny records

Sub-series consists of records relating to Trower's 2000 "A Ship Called Destiny: Poems of Love and Travel," originally titled "Yvonne’s Book." Includes the first selection of poems, an edited manuscript, the author’s introduction, postscript and table of contents, and galley proofs with photographs.

Sub-series consists of records documenting the financial operation of housepress, including invoices, bank statements, bank books, check stubs, notices of assessment, and receipts.

Sub-series contains incoming and outgoing correspondence between James Delgado, Eco-Nova Multimedia Productions, and others involved with the production of 'The Sea Hunters' television series. Also included are newspaper clippings and articles written by Delgado regarding episodes or their subject matter, research records, records relating to and ideas for episodes, and travel and filming itineraries.

Subseries consists of three drafts of the novel The Hero’s Walk edited by Algonquin Books USA and Alfred A. Knopf Canada

He Drown She in the Sea

Sub-series consists of drafts, manuscripts and final proofs for the novel published as He Drown She in the Sea in 2005. Working titles for this novel included Harry the Egg-Man; The Woman Who Gave Love Birds as a Present; Once, A Raleigh Man; The Summer of Rose; and The Servant’s Son. The many drafts in this sub-series show the progression from first writings to finished work.
The drafts also show that Mootoo worked on her novel in sections, assigning alpha-numeric designators to each section during the draft stages of the work (eg. 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 2C and so on).

Video recordings

Sub-series contains videocassettes of episodes of "The Sea Hunters," including the final cuts of episodes intended for broadcast, master tapes, and clips, as well as videocassettes for press kits.

Professional development training program

Series contains documents related to the administration and organization of IMAG's professional development training program offerings, including correspondence, forms, instructor evaluations, student work, curriculum outlines, and funding applications.

Administrative files

Sub-series includes records generated from the administration of housepress and includes the housepress minute book, permission files, ISBN log, grant application, correspondence, one photograph and publicity clippings.

Sage Hill Poetry Colloquium development records

Sub-series consists of records relating to Daphne Marlatt's activities at the annual Sage Hill Poetry Colloquium in Saskatchewan, associated with the Sage Hill Writing Experience. Marlatt served as the colloquium's facilitator. Records include correspondence, brochures, articles, evaluations, and notes.

Festival promo films

Subseries consists of recordings of commercials for the film festival, of television coverage of the film festival, and of interviews with IMAG members promoting the film festival.
