This series consist of letters, writings and notes about P. V. Verigin’s life and work by various individuals and organizations, such as CCUB that interacted with him closely. Many of the documents refer to and were written after the death of Verigin in 1924. The file includes articles about Verigin’s return from exile in Siberia by A.V. Efanov and “P. V. Verigin and Molokan” by A. P. Kariakin. Series also includes Anastasia Hoboloff’s account of her dream about P. V. Verigin. Other documents are by I. Konkin, V.S.L., Larion Straukov, Ivan Okunov, S. Vereshagin, I. Tregubov. Some documents do not indicate authors. Documents are mostly in Russian.

This file consist of carbon copy of document signed by Anastasia Bojey [Bozhia] written on Christian Community of Universal Brotherhood, Peter Verigin Office letterhead. This document provides Anastasia’s account of her dream in which she took a train journey with P. V. Verigin.

This sous-fonds consists of correspondence, circular letters, speeches and writings, by P. P. Verigin and about him, as well as photographs that provide insight to Peter P. Verigin’s life as leader of the Doukhobors and the character of the Doukhobor community. The sous-fonds is arranged into the following five series: Correspondence ([1926?]-1937); Circular letters ([1925?]-1937); Speeches, talks, writings, views ([1920?]-1940); Records about P. P. Verigin (1925-[ca 1940]); and Photographs ([ca 1881]-1939).

This series consists of the personal and the Doukhobor community matters correspondence of P. V. Verigin sent to and received from various members of the CCUB.

This sub-series consists of the personal and Doukhobor community matters correspondence of P. V. Verigin sent to various members of the CCUB, including: A. Katelnikov, I. Shukin, V. Makhonin, N. Kotelnikov, V. Ribin, V. Makhonin, N. Kotelnikov, I. Kutniakov, V. Sukharev, I Tregubov ,Ivan Zebrov, Ivan Rylkoff, Ivan Kanigin, Ivan Dubasov and Mikhail Kazakoff, Leaders of CCUB and Youth Union. Some of the correspondence reflect Verigin’s plan for economic restructuring of the CCUB. All correspondence in this sub-series is mimeographed, except for one hand-written letter. Some of the records are original mimeographs, some are photocopies. Some mimeographs are signed only by P.P. Verigin while others were transcribed from originals by others. Transcriber is not always indicated. All records are in Russian.

This file contains letters and telegrams from Peter P. Verigin to J. Shukin discussing the business aspects of the Doukhobor settlement in Canada, letters from J. G. Bonderoff and G. Rozendorf; minutes of Convention of June 27, 1928 establishing parameters of Doukhoborism under guidance of P. P. Verigin; his speech delivered in Buchanan, Sask. on July 29, 1928 during observance of Peter's Day. Additional documents includes letters from ideologically like minded individuals like in Europe: Nikolai Khoven (Nice, France) and Nicolai Scheirman (Sweden); article by John G. Bonderoff; and account of P. P. Verigin dinner discussion in Sask, Nov. 14, 1928 recorded by V. A. Makoseev.

This file contains Peter P. Verigin's correspondence regarding changes suggested by him to Doukhobor beliefs, business, youth involvement, including new philosophy behind Named Doukhobors of Canada; reprimanding the Sons of Freedom; and recounting the CCUB delegates visit to Molokans in Oregon and California. This file contains P. P. Verigin's letters to Doukhobors still in USSR in Rostov Oblast and in Ukraine; letters to his daughter Anna and her husband Ivan Markov, to his son Peter P. Verigin II, his cousin Nikolay Kotelnikoff; Sask. CCUB manager M. Cazakoff's letter of resignation.

This file contains correspondence of Peter P. Verigin located in Rostov-on-Don addressed to the CCUB in Canada and its vice-president J. P. Shukin and P. P. Verigin's speech to the CCUB delegates that came to visit him in Russia. The file contains letter from Kotelnikoff to P. P. Verigin's mother assuring her that Peter will be well in Canada.

This file contains correspondence with Named Doukhobors in Russia complaining about their poor circumstances ; delegates to Russia; Russian delegates to Canada; and business correspondence with Shukin; W. A. Soukhoroff's account of Peter P. Verigin meeting with youth; list of funds collected by P. P. Verigin from the CCUB villages.

This file contains correspondence, speeches and messages of Peter P. Verigin. Includes a talk held at the home of Independent Doukhobor Koftinoff on Feb 1, 1935 and speeches from the historic Named Doukhobors convention held at Brilliant on Feb 28- March 3, 1935. Around 700 delegates from western provinces of Canada participate in the convention.

This file contains account of Named Doukhobors of Canada convention in Brilliant in March 1930; Peter P. Verigin's speech at Brilliant June 29, 1930 at the Verigin's tomb; and letters from Russia describing difficulties facing the Doukhobor; letter from A. Fomin; account of discussion in Brilliant, August 3, 1930; Peter's letter to his mother Evodokia and from his cousin Kotelniokoff.

This file contains correspondence of Peter P. Verigin with W. A. Soukhoreff and others. Verigin's letters are written from Prince Albert Federal Penitentiary. He recounts attempts of his deportation and in one of them threatens to resign from leadership (July 23, 1933).

This file contains letters from Peter P. Verigin (Chistiakov) many addressed to of Mikhail Kazakoff (Cazakoff), General Manager of CCUB operations in Saskatchewan This correspondence reflects Verigin's attempts to reorganize the Doukhobor communities and economy to generate more income, pay off debts, and retain their lands. This file also contain correspondence of Ivan Zebrov, Ivan Rylkoff, Ivan Kanigin, Ivan Dubasov, and Vasily Reibin. Later letters are written from Prince Albert Federal Prison in Saskatchewan. This file two versions of Verigin’s plan for situating family groups in the center of a parcel of land, thus creating what came to be known as hundreds. It contains documents that explain the plan and budget necessary for its implementation. The letters are in Russian and most are typed.

This file contains Peter P. Verigin (Chistiakov) correspondence from prison in Prince Albert, Sask., speeches and text of psalms. These letters illustrate Verigin's attempt to resolve the economic and structural problems left after Peter V. Verigin's death.

This file contains correspondence of Peter P. Verigin written from Prince Albert Federal Penitentiary to the executive directors of the CCUB (P. Morozoff, P.A. Reibin)and several to W. A. Soukhoreff discussing business and Doukhobor matters; letter to the federal and provincial governments protesting imprisonment of the Sons of Freedom in Piers Island and detention of their children; letters with philosophical concerns; and letters to the youth. This file also includes Peter P. Verigin's speeches given in Verigin, Saskatchewan.
