Sub-series consists of Stonebanks’ notes and research records relating to Ginger Goodwin’s life for the period of time he lived in Cumberland, 1912-1915. Records include reproduced research records from various sources, correspondence, and notes about sources consulted. Research materials in this sub-series were used primarily for chapters 3 and 4 of Stonebanks’ book.

This sub-series consists of the various records relating to the Doukhobor history, customs and traditions including wedding and funeral practices, Doukhobor beliefs and symbols, ritual proceedings, dietary requirements and other related materials. These records document religious and traditional requirements expected of the USCC members. Most of the documents relate to the legal aspects of the CCUB and Doukhobor community in terms of land holdings, loans, crops, population, attitude towards war, etc. Other documents relate to the administration and ideological structures of the CCUB and the community. The documents include: forms, reports, statements, lists, certificates, correspondences, protocols, congress proceedings, legal counsel correspondence, and notices. Energy industry

This sub-series contains records related to the energy industry in British Columbia, Alberta and Canada in general, including electricity produced by hydro, oil and gas power plants and the implication of energy production on the natural environment. A part of the sub-series documents opposition to the construction of Site C dam in British Columbia. The majority of the documents consist of reports, news items and correspondence.

English as a Second Language (ESL) training materials and photographs

Sub-series consists of records relating to English as a Second Language (ESL) programs run by the Canadian Farmworkers Union, particularly the ESL Crusades, which customized English learning to farmworkers’ specific needs and brought the program to workers in their homes. Records include tutors’ manuals, educational materials, reports on the success of the ESL programs, photographs of ESL graduation events, and a photo book depicting farmworkers studying English.

Sub-series consists of promotional material for art events. Materials include correspondence, posters, flyers, postcards, invitations, a pin, and other materials.
