Songs texts records

This series consists of the songs, hymns and psalms texts, music sheets and other material related to Doukhobor songs and music as vital part of Doukhobor culture and traditions. Large number of these files are original and translated Doukhobor songs, many of which are unpublished. Some of material was used as source for singing by Eli's wife Dorothy and others. A number of files in this series were created in collaboration with Kenneth Peacock of National Museum in Ottawa.

Post-war Vancouver

This series is comprised of material associated with Ajaib’s life after World War II as he developed a successful business and started a family. Most of the images in this series come from a family album and are centered around Ajaib’s marriage to Nirmal and the early years of their marriage. Most of the material from later in his life is in the form of correspondence and other records. Also included are some memorabilia items and ephemera that illustrate how Ajaib and Nirmal enjoyed their free time (concerts, theatre shows, trips, etc.).
The series is divided into 2 sub-series: Photographs and Textual records.

Photographs

This series consists of prints (some mounted), negatives and slides - both professional and amateur shots - of various performances and rehearsals. Some artistic photo shoots are also included. In many instances exact dates are not known but a general guess by the donor is provided.

Photographs, labels and graphics

Series consists of graphic materials relating to BC brewing history: photographic prints, digital scans, beer labels (originals and copies), and other printed images. The series also includes Evans' correspondence relating to photo research and permissions clearance for his various projects, including the book project; textual records include correspondence, search results, low-resolution print-outs of images, order forms, invoices, schedules of fees, and conditions of use forms.

Photographs appear throughout most series in the fonds; this series brings together images that were stored loose or in separate binders or folders without any obvious connection to other materials; and it includes Evans' own low-resolution scans of analog originals.
