BC Beerfront News (CAMRA BC)

Sub-sub-series consists of 4 issues of the BC Beer Front News, the newsletter of CAMRA BC's predecessor organization. An earlier group of CAMRA Canada members based in the Lower Mainland incorporated as CAMRA BC in 1985. They met regularly and produced a newsletter for several years, but their registration as a BC Society had lapsed and they were no longer active by 1990 when the new group based in Victoria incorporated separately as CAMRA BC. 2001 GCBF working files

Sub-sub-series consists of records relating to the planning and organization of the 2001 Great Canadian Beer Festival (GCBF) in Victoria. It took place on the weekend of November 30 - December 1, 2001 and was held at the Victoria Conference Centre. For record types, see parent sub-series description.

Kegs and related artefacts

Sub-sub-series consists of a 10L and a 20L Granville Island Brewing mini-keg and related items, including a tap, mallet and caps. GIB first started offering draft Island Lager in a take home mini keg or 'Party Keg' in May 1986. The kegs came in 10L, 15L and 20L sizes. Larger kegs were also made available to licensees and pubs beginning in May 1986.

Futures Program

Sub-sub-series consists of records relating to the administration of the Futures Program, a conference developed for high school students to learn more about SFU and career paths after university education and includes correspondence with the campus community, high school counsellors and students; conference brochures and promotional materials; registration forms and statistics; orientation tour questionnaires; session planning and development documents; interview summaries, and post-conference surveys. Records include correspondence and working papers, reports, surveys and publications.

Nightline Program

Sub-sub-series consists of records relating to the administration of the Nightline Program, the campus crisis counselling service and includes proposals for the program and its future development. Activities documented include correspondence with members of the university community; advertising and training of volunteers; grant proposals; volunteer survey reports; a newspaper article about the program; campus advertising; development of policies, procedures and budgets, and reorganization of the program in 1992. Records include correspondence and working papers, reports, financial statements, statistics, and publications.

University Choirs

Sub-sub-series consists of records relating to the administration of university choirs on campus and includes correspondence regarding the funding and performance schedules of the SFU Choir and the SFU Madrigal Singers; grant applications and budgets; membership lists; promotional flyers and newspaper advertisements in The Peak. Records include correspondence and working papers, reports, financial statements, and publications.

Diamond Club Executive

Sub-sub-series consists of records relating to Bill Stewart's participation on the Board of Directors for the Jack and Sadie Diamond University Club at Simon Fraser University and includes correspondence with board members and the university community; AGM agendas and meeting minutes from the Board of Directors and House Committee; balance sheets and budget planning; pricing proposals; Treasurer's reports; membership policies and a members questionnaire. Records include correspondence, agendas and minutes, financial statements, reports and statistics.

Challenge Program

Sub-sub-series consists of records relating to the administration of the Challenge Program and includes correspondence with the campus community, student participants, and the provincial and federal government; supervisor lists; policies and procedures; AUCE 2 union concerns; blank project forms and memos; job postings and project proposals; funding allocations; and program brochures produced by the government. Records include correspondence and working papers, reports, financial statements and publications.

University Centre Building and Food Services

Sub-sub-series consists of records relating to the administration of the University Centre Building and food services on campus and includes leasing and vendor contracts; a copy of the contract between the university and the student society regarding funding for the University Centre Building; budgets; correspondence with the university community; insurance reports; licensing policies and procedures; service hours and renovation proposals; and catering menus. Records include correspondence and working papers, financial statements, contracts and legal documentation, and publications.

Counselling Services

Sub-sub-series consists of records relating to the daily administration of Counselling Services and includes Dean's correspondence with Counselling personnel and the university community; development of policies and procedures; minutes from staff meetings; and budget planning. Records include correspondence and working papers, agendas and minutes, annual reports, and financial statements.
