Richard Emerson fonds

The fonds consists of correspondence written by Robert Creeley and typescripts of poems, stories and essays of Creeley sent with letters to Emerson. The correspondence is concerned with a magazine Creeley intended to establish, Creeley's poems published in "Golden Goose", the publication of "Le Fou", and other matters.

The fonds consists of correspondence (with manuscript and typescript enclosures) from Anne Waldman to Lewis Marsh, much of it pertaining to the relationship between the two poets, as well as to relationships with other poets. Their involvement in the Naropa Institute is also described. Most of the letters from 1969 to 1973 concern the publishing of Angel Hair Books and contain much information about the New York poetry world centred at the Poetry Project.
