This file consists of 93 black and white photographs taken at Anna Markova’s funeral in 1978. Anna Petrovna Markova, daughter of Peter P. Verigin (Chiastiakov) and mother of John J. Verigin, played important role in Doukhobor community and the USCC. The photographs depict the funeral ceremony in the community hall, funeral procession to the burial site, burial ceremony and various members of the community paying their respects.
