Restrictions on access

Access to recordings in analog format (film, video, audio reel, audio cassette) is restricted due to the fragility of the media. Access will be provided only through digitized access copies. Very few of the items have to date been digitized; consult the reference archivist for more information about accessing these materials. There are no restrictions on born-digital recordings, but these represent a very small proportion of the items.
