Part of Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology fonds
Series comprises records relating to the establishment and operation of the SCWIST Resource Centre, which carries out many of the Society's administrative duties. The Resource Centre was opened in 1992 in offices at the Harbour Centre campus of Simon Fraser University, Vancouver. In 1996 it relocated to the downtown Vancouver YWCA building. The Centre is staffed by a paid Coordinator. Activities documented in this series include the establishment of the Resource Centre, its official opening in 1992, and staffing. Records consist of correspondence; grant applications and supporting documentation; reports; and invitations, guest book and audio recordings of the official opening.
Series comprises records related to the administration and organization of the Media and Public Relations Office and its predecessor, the University News Service. Topics documented include goals and objectives; meetings within the University relating to the delivery of the department's services; reorganization of the department; and a Gallup Poll to ascertain SFU's public image and develop an appropriate public relations program. Records include correspondence, reports, minutes, working papers, proposals, and other documents.

Paper records include income statements, correspondence (manufacturer, retailer, and customer), stock inventories, marketing plans, market analyses, newsletters, and an internal order processing manual. Born-digital records include John Fluevog design drawings, letterheads, and internal manuals on the pricing, order processing, shipment, and exchange of Blackspot shoes.
