Fonds consists of records related to the life and creative work of Peter Trower in his activities as a poet, prose writer, cartoonist, and musician. Fonds also includes records pertaining to Trower's collaborative projects with Yvonne Klan, as well as works by other authors and artists that were accumulated by Trower. Records include poetry and prose manuscripts, drafts and outlines, movie scripts, journals, notebooks, correspondence, business records, photographs, articles, cartoons and other drawings, awards, certificates, and sound and video recordings.

Fonds consist of materials relating to Kiyooka's work as an artist and writer, principally correspondence and other writings. Also included are photographs, photomontages, financial records, teaching notes, audiotapes and other material.

The collection reflects Rimmer’s career as a designer, illustrator, printer, and publisher, and his involvement with members of the printing community and various associations. Records document Rimmer’s graphic design, typeface design and printing processes and accomplishments, and the publication activities of Pie Tree Press. The extensive graphic material within the collection includes sketches, drawings and prints. Also included are Rimmer’s linocut and woodcut blocks, as well as master patterns, specimen castings, matrices, lead working patterns, and cast metal sorts for many of his metal typefaces. Fonds consists primarily of records related to Robert Jackson's political interests and activities. Included are many original and reproduced documents from labour events in the 1930s, particularly the On to Ottawa trek but including information on other labour-related events and figures, including the Spanish Civil War and the unionism in primary resource industries. The fonds also includes many records gathered by Jackson in the 1980s and 1990s in his work commemorating the On to Ottawa trek and participating in labour-related events. It contains newsletters, bulletins and other publications, newspaper clippings, essays, and articles, correspondence, recollections and testimonials, obituaries, notes from speaking engagements, leaflets, posters, press releases, petitions, minutes, financial records, project proposals, a script, work documents, certificates, legal documents, photographs, and other records related to Jackson's political life. The file level arrangement of this fonds is based on an arrangement established in 2001 by David Yorke who undertook to order Jackson's paper by subject. The order in which Jackson kept his records is unknown. The fonds is arranged in four series: On to Ottawa Trek (1934-2000); Labour history subject files (1933-2000); Memorials (1985-2000); and Photographs ([193-?]-2000).

Item is a film containing home movie footage of two separate events. The first depicts Erickson family members at the family property that once stood at 4890 Osler Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. It includes footage of Arthur Erickson's parents Oscar and Myrtle playing ping pong; Arthur and his brother Don playing with their dog; as well as footage of Arthur's grandmothers Bengte Johannson Erickson and Sarah Chatterson (nee McKnight), and Oscar's sister Anna Auer in the garden and sitting on a bench.

The second film is of a garden party, possibly at the Flumerfelt family home. The attendees include Oscar Erickson (with canes) and Myrtle Erickson.

The collection consists of items related to St. Pierre's writing activities and to his work as a politician and police commissioner. Included are published books; magazines and newspapers in which St. Pierre has published his work; correspondence; drafts and manuscripts of books, radio and stage plays, television series episodes, and speeches; film scripts; newspaper columns; essays; reviews and articles about St. Pierre and his writing; and photographs.

Fonds consists of correspondence, scripts, screenplays, newsletters, articles, films and other records created or accumulated by Norman Klenman over the course of his career as a journalist, film and television writer and producer, and the joint owner of the CKVU television station. The records include draft and final version scripts and screenplays and related records for radio, television, and film (both produced and unproduced). Also included is correspondence, agreements and financial and project-related records of various production companies of which Klenman was a joint owner, in particular Galanty Productions Limited (Galanty Limited). The fonds also contains some personal records; these include correspondence pertaining to Klenman’s career, as well as articles and other writings by Klenman. The records have been arranged into the following six series: Personal records (2002-2010); Articles and general writings (1986-2006); Business files (1952-2004); General scripts, screenplays and related records ([ca. 1946]-2010); Television scripts, screenplays and related records (1956-2010); Film scripts, screenplays and related records (1953-2008); and CKVU records (1958-2011).

The women pose with the manor's columns; jump onto and walk on the porch railings; and run up and down the outdoor stairs. Some of the scenes are edited in an experimental manner, such as splicing certain scenes into the film upside down, or on negative instead of positive film.

Item is an experimental style film by Arthur Erickson featuring members of his family (his father Oscar, mother Myrtle, brother Don, sister-in-law Eleanor and nephew Christopher) and family friend Ruth Lee. The film was shot at Ruth Lee's home at Qualicum Beach, where the Erickson's were visiting. In one scene, Don and Eleanor repair a fence while Myrtle gathers wood on the property. In another scene, Oscar sits on a patio and paints on a canvas while Arthur paints standing on top of the house’s chimney. In the next scene, Don and Eleanor enter an outhouse and exit holding baby Christopher, who is placed upon a poppy plant. In the next scene, the couple and their baby wade in several tidal pools on a beach while dressed in seaweed. Following this, the Erickson family (minus Arthur) shares an outdoor meal with Ruth Lee. The final scene shows Christopher wading in the tidal pools alone, playing with a toy boat.

Some of the scenes are filmed or edited in an experimental or artistic manner, such as splicing certain scenes into the film on negative instead of positive film.

The fonds contains manuscripts, correspondence, journals, documents related to provincial and national writers organizations and documents related to the founding and running of Caitlin Press, The Poem Factory/Usine de Poeme, and Coracle Press including correspondence, manuscripts, promotional materials, and business records. Also includes papers related to Zonailo's academic work at various universities, as well as personal memorabilia, phonograph recordings and audio-cassettes of Zonailo's poetry set to music, video-cassettes, musical scores, literary periodicals, books by other authors (mostly inscribed to Zonailo), poetry broadsides, chapbooks, and ephemera. Records related to Zonailo's work as a member or the planning committee of the C.G. Jung Society of Montreal and editor of its newsletter are also included as well as correspondence, periodicals, graphic materials, and other records related to astrology.

Fonds illustrates George Stanley’s work as a poet in San Francisco, New York, Vancouver, and Terrace, spanning from the late 1950s to the present. Fonds also documents Stanley’s interactions with the broader literary scenes, including publishers and other writers. Fonds is divided into seven series: Correspondence (1967-2007), George Stanley poems and other writings (1957-2011), Works of other writers ([ca.1957]-2011), Literary events and publication (1972-2011), Personal documents (1972-1990), Photographs of George Stanley and associates (1964-1983).
