Epilogue notes and research records

Sub-series consists of Stonebanks’ notes and research records relating to the epilogue of his book. The epilogue speaks about topics related to Goodwin’s legacy, including his gravesite, Miners’ Memorial Day, and Ginger Goodwin Way. It also speaks about the lives and legacies of those connected to Goodwin, and provides information about living and working conditions in the town where Goodwin had lived. Records include reproduced research records for various sources, correspondence, and Stonebanks’ notes.

Episode files

Sub-series contains incoming and outgoing correspondence between James Delgado, Eco-Nova Multimedia Productions, and others involved with the production of 'The Sea Hunters' television series. Also included are newspaper clippings and articles written by Delgado regarding episodes or their subject matter, research records, records relating to and ideas for episodes, and travel and filming itineraries.

Sub-series consists of records such as writing drafts, correspondence, and research records relating to the book "Faking It: Critical Writing 1984-1999," published by NeWest Press in 2000. The book is a collection of Wah's writings, including poems, essays, reviews, journals, and notes.

Festival administration

Sub-series consists of records related to the administration of the Vancouver annual Indigenous film and video festivals, including records related to planning the festivals, coordinating festival events and volunteers, and recommendations for subsequent festivals. Document types include correspondence, reports, forms, schedules, budgets and receipts.

Subseries consists of recordings of commercials for the film festival, of television coverage of the film festival, and of interviews with IMAG members promoting the film festival.

This sub-series consists of the various materials relating to the organization of Doukhobor cultural events or the Doukhobor cultural representative groups participating in provincial or national events.
These events include: Tolstoy unveiling festival, 75th anniversary and Centennial celebration of Doukhobor arrival in Canada, Expo ’86 as well as various performance by Doukhobor choirs, including Heritage Choir, Tri Choir, Centennial Choir, United Doukhobor Centennial Choir, Friendship Choir, and Youth Choir. In addition, this sub-series contains material related to the cooperation with Kenneth Peacock of National Museum of Man in Ottawa in efforts to preserve Doukhobor songs and hymns. This sub-series contains grant correspondence and applications, festival planning records, financial records, events programs, songs text, meeting minutes of the choirs’ committees, photographs and other related records.

Fiction and poetry records

Sub-series consists of short story drafts, poems, notes, correspondence with publishers, and short story competition advertisements and submissions. Sub-series also consists of edits, background research, manuscript drafts and floppy disks relating to Shackleton’s unpublished novel, “The Jerusalem Wars.”

Sub-series consists of scripts and screenplays written by Norman Klenman, alone and in collaboration with others, for feature and short films, produced and not produced, as well as related records. Additional material includes related notes, correspondence, contracts, research material, and moving images. Includes screenplays for “Beggarman’s Game,” “Dilbeck Junior,” “The Ecstasy of Rita Joe,” “A Forest of Eyes,” Ivy League Killers (a.k.a. “The Fast Ones”), “Nails,” "Now That April’s Here," “Passion” (based on The Gambler), “Riel”, and “Voices,” as well as a number of other scripts written for the National Film Board and CBC-TV. Series also includes two "Ivy League Killers" film reels.

This sub-series consists of documents of financial nature that include: correspondence, reports, statements, receipts, purchase orders, bills of sales, accounting books. These documents were created by the CCUB executive members in branch offices in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Washington State in USA. These sub-series also contains legal documentation that relate to the financial operations of the CCUB and its members. Most of the documents in this sub-series are original mimeographs, some with handwritten notes, as well as there is some handwritten documents. Most documents are in Russian and some are in English.
