"The Swiss Conspiracy" screenplays and related records

Sub-series consists of records relating to Norman Klenman and Philip Saltzman’s development of a feature film screenplay titled “The Ultimate Victim,” which was eventually produced under the title "The Swiss Conspiracy". Records include outlines and various drafts of the screenplay, contracts, notes, correspondence, and research material.

The counting house records

Sub-series consists of a manuscript for "The Counting House," an unpublished book based on Trower’s experiences at Oakalla Prison in the 1960s.

Gangsterquest records

Sub-series consists of records relating to Peter Trower and Yvonne Klan’s unpublished book project "Gangsterquest: The Search for the King of Safecrackers." An account of the life of Herbert Emerson Wilson (aka Herb Wilson), the project was originally titled "Holy Herb." Records include notes, research records, chapter and screenplay outlines, and edited and unedited draft manuscripts.

Haunted hills and hanging valleys records

Sub-series consists of material relating to the development of Trower's 2004 book "Haunted Hills and Hanging Valleys."Includes several draft manuscripts, including the first selection of poems and the final draft, as well as correspondence between Trower and Harbour Publishing.

Sub-series documents general correspondence and submissions received by "filling Station" magazine in the 1990s.

The Last Supper opera libretto draft, revisions and final text

Sub-series consists of the draft, revisions and final text of The Last Supper, an opera libretto written by Blaser. Material includes handwritten edits and notes on the text, which include facsimiles sent with revisions from Harrison Birtwistle, who wrote the score for The Last Supper, and representatives at Allied Artists.

Sub-series consists of journals and notebooks, speeches, statements, short stories, a translation, and grant applications completed by Blaser.

Sub-series consists of photographs of Blaser and his friends and colleagues. Photographs include other notable writers and artists such as Robert Duncan, Allen Ginsberg, Robert Creeley, Jack Spicer, Jess Collins, as well as other notable American and Canadian poets and authors. The sub-series also includes print photographs that belonged to James Felts, a former partner of Blaser’s.

Sub-series consists of correspondence of Blaser’s nephew Mark Samac to his mother, Hope Blaser Samac, correspondence of Jonathan Williams, and letter of Robert Duncan to Jack Spicer.

General project records

Sub-series consists of records relating to various projects James Delgado worked on throughout his professional career. Records were created or compiled by Delgado through his work for the National Park Service, the Vancouver Maritime Museum, and the Institute of Nautical Archaeology. A large number of files are related to exploring shipwreck sites, court cases related to shipwreck salvage, and the nomination of shipwrecks for Historic Places status. Records include correspondence, photographs, notes, meeting agendas and minutes, newspaper clippings, journal and magazine articles, pamphlets, trip reports and itineraries, press releases, project proposals, and reports.

Maritime archaeology records

Sub-series consists of records created or compiled by James Delgado through his work on maritime archaeology projects, primarily projects undertaken while he worked as a historian for the National Park Service. A large number of records focus on Delgado's work on the preservation of shipwreck sites through the National Registry of Historic Places. Records include correspondence, newspaper clippings, slides and photographs, research records, and surveys of shipwrecks.

"The Portside" records

Sub-series consists of records relating to the short film "The Portside," written by Daphne Marlatt. Released in 2009, the film was part of the Out on Screen Queer History Project. Records document the writing of the film as well as its production and submission to film festivals. Records include screenplay drafts, correspondence, research records, and administrative records.

"Shadow Catch" records

Sub-series consists of records relating to the chamber opera "Shadow Catch," for which Marlatt composed the libretto. The opera was affiliated with the Pro Musica Society of Vancouver's Further East Further West Series, as well as the City of Vancouver's 125th Anniversary Celebration. "Shadow Catch" ran from December 2-4, 2011 at the Firehall Arts Centre in Vancouver. Records include draft scripts, correspondence, articles, musical scores, photographs, programs, and advertisements.

Sub-series consists of records relating to the book "Readings from the Labyrinth," a collection of essays by Daphne Marlatt. Records include manuscripts, newspaper clippings, photographs, and other conference material.
