Alphabetical correspondence

Sub-series consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence between Blaser and family, friends, and colleagues. Material includes handwritten and typed correspondence, as well as facsimile correspondence. Additional material includes sketches, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, and other textual material sent to Blaser.

Awards: Judging & Nominations

Sub-series consists of materials relating to prizes for which Sharon Thesen was either nominated or acted as judge. Materials include correspondence, a review, newspaper clippings, articles and photocopied articles, a newspaper, a list of submissions, handwritten notes, a small map and an awards booklet.

Valhalla publications

This sub-series contains various publication created by Valhalla Wilderness Society and its closely affiliated organizations to provide information and highlight environmental issues in the province of British Columbia as well as to highlight various campaigns to protect the wilderness that Valhalla organized. The publications were created by Valhalla Wilderness Society, Canada’s Future Forests Alliance, Citizens for Environmentally Responsible Government and Perry Ridge Water Users Association. The material includes bulletins, newsletters, flyers, brochures and newspaper format.

Sub-series consists of records relating to various book projects of Trower’s which have not been published. Projects include “Busted for Pot,” “Kisses in the Whiskey,” “Vancouver Centennial Anthology,” “Wild West Coast Woods,” and "Echos from another life." Record types include manuscripts, proposals, and chapter outlines.

Sub-series consists of records relating to Daphne Marlatt's development and teaching of various courses at post-secondary institutions. Records include articles, lecture notes, evaluations by colleagues, brochures, syllabi, and other course material.

The Writers' Union of Canada records

Sub-series consists of records relating to Wah’s activities as a member of the Writers’ Union of Canada. Records include correspondence, publications of the union, and administrative records.

The records in this sub-series have been arranged into the following two sub-sub-series: Racial Minorities Committee records, and General records.

General administration

Subseries consists of records related to the general administration of the Indigenous Media Arts Group. Document types include certificates of incorporation, board meeting agendas and minutes, annual general meeting agendas and minutes, correspondence, employment contracts, equipment rentals, phone and internet bills, and contact information for individuals or businesses.

Membership

Sub-series contains records related to membership in IMAG, including lists of board members, student contact information, instructor contact information, and completed membership cards and forms.

Writer-in-residence records

Sub-series consists of records relating to Daphne Marlatt's role as writer-in-residence at various institutions. Records include correspondence, promotional records, job applications, and administrative documents.

Creative writing course development records

Sub-series consists of records relating to Daphne Marlatt's development of creative writing courses. Records include lecture notes, student evaluations, syllabi, and other course material.

General conferences

Sub-series consists of records related to Blaser’s attendance at various poetry conferences. Records include correspondence, conference programs, maps, flight records, notes, and other textual material.

Cumberland 1912-1915 notes and research records

Sub-series consists of Stonebanks’ notes and research records relating to Ginger Goodwin’s life for the period of time he lived in Cumberland, 1912-1915. Records include reproduced research records from various sources, correspondence, and notes about sources consulted. Research materials in this sub-series were used primarily for chapters 3 and 4 of Stonebanks’ book.

Publicity and promotional materials

Sub-series contains records related to promotion and publicity for the IMAG annual film and video festival. Document types include festival programs, newspaper clipping and photocopies, posters, IMAG press releases, press kits for films, and correspondence related to advertising and media sponsorship.

General records

This sub-series contains records related to Valhalla organizational activities in relation to Colleen McCrory work, including presentation, contact lists, memos, and general matters.

Publicity records and reviews

Sub-series contains records relating to reviews and publicity records for various books written by James Delgado, as well as some records relating to Delgado's reviews of the work of others. Records include correspondence (primarily with publishers), newspaper clippings, web page printouts, newsletters, and journals.

Canadian groups

This sub-series contains records related to Canadian based organization in general and some specific to the individual provinces, with the majority of records relating to BC organizations, including British Columbia Environmental Network that Colleen McCrory was involved in.

Diamond grill records

This series consists of records such as writing drafts, notes, and research records relating to the book "Diamond Grill," published by NeWest Press in 1996. The book is a semi-fictional biography recounting Wah's childhood experiences.

Festival administration

Sub-series consists of records related to the administration of the Vancouver annual Indigenous film and video festivals, including records related to planning the festivals, coordinating festival events and volunteers, and recommendations for subsequent festivals. Document types include correspondence, reports, forms, schedules, budgets and receipts.
