Student Services

Sub-series consists of records relating to the operation and daily administration of Student Services on campus and includes Dean's correspondence with student services offices, members of the university community, and external organizations; planning documents, staff memoranda; and project proposals. Records include correspondence and working papers, agendas and minutes, annual reports, and financial statements.

Residences and Housing

Sub-sub-series consists of records relating to the daily administration of Residences and Housing and includes Dean's correspondence with the Residence Coordinator and campus residents regarding play areas for children, parking, food services, and housing repairs; student rental inquiries; housing and transportation surveys; fee and rental agreements; and research into off-campus student housing. Also documented are the minutes of the Board of Governors Special Housing Committee, the Residence Committee, the Tenants' Association, the Residence Planning and Policy Committee, and the President's Committee of University Residences. Records include correspondence and working papers, agendas and minutes, reports, and financial statements.

Counselling Services

Sub-sub-series consists of records relating to the daily administration of Counselling Services and includes Dean's correspondence with Counselling personnel and the university community; development of policies and procedures; minutes from staff meetings; and budget planning. Dean of Student Affairs

Series consists of records relating to Lolita Wilson's work as Dean of Student Affairs. Activities documented include correspondence with members of the university community, external organizations including the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada and the Canadian Association of University Teachers, and with other Canadian universities and colleges; student orientation and surveys; admission and grading policies and procedures; budget planning; participation on university committees and national associations; and liaison with student services including Residence and Housing, Counselling Services, Health Services, Reading and Study Services, Chaplaincy, and Daycare.
