Fonds consists of records reflecting the academic and personal life of Douglas Cole. The correspondence series consists primarily of the personal views of Dr. Cole on matters of historical scholarship, university affairs and his own career as a professor. A few letters were made or received by Dr. Cole in his capacity as a University employee performing his official duties –– for example, marking students' work and providing reference letters. Fonds also includes some unpublished articles, conference papers, research notes and lectures.

Fonds consists of records relating to the activities and management of the publishing company, including correspondence, financial documents, administrative files, rejection letters, educational materials, edited manuscripts, page proofs, printer proofs, production graphics, design mockups, teacher accompaniments, newspaper clippings, catalogues and sales reports. Fonds also contains Scott McIntyre's records from his work with the Canadian Pacific Publishing Society, and books published by Douglas & McIntyre, including the imprints Greystone Books, Groundwood Books, and Western Producer Prairie Books.

Collection comprises photographs, manuscripts, correspondence, ephemera, books and periodical material resulting from and pertaining to the settlement and subsequent history of Doukhobors in Western Canada. Books and periodical items have been catalogued in the SFU Library Catalogue. Digitized images and accompanying descriptions of a portion of the collection are available on the Doukhobor Collection, 1898-1930 website.

Series consists of one file labeled “Manuscript – A Very Ordinary Life”. The papers inside are annotated and heavily edited at times.

Fonds consists of materials generated from Duthie Books Ltd.'s business activities selling and marketing books in Vancouver, BC. The collection consists of photographic images and printed materials relating to the life and death of E. Pauline Johnson. Some of the material is associated with her sister, Evelyn Johnson, but the provenance and nature of compilation is largely unknown.

Fonds consists of records arising from the general administration of the East Enders Society, and from the Society's participation in various social service projects for women in Vancouver's East Side. Fonds includes financial statements, receipts, correspondence, bulletins, reports, proposals, minutes of meetings, constitutions, job applications, letters of reference, newspaper clippings, audio tapes of interviews with Society members, partial transcripts of interviews, and other records.

The fonds consists of letters sent to British poet Tom Raworth, a manuscript of Dorn's book "Gloucester Out" and other material.

Edward McWhinney was an international authority on constitutional and aviation law, a prolific author, member of multiple academic and professional organizations, a Member of the Canadian Parliament and a lecturer at universities around the world. In his later years he actively supported numerous institutions, including the charitable foundation he established with his wife, Emily McWhinney. He routinely travelled, and this collection reflects the diverse range of his careers and interests.

Consisting primarily of records created in the course of his extensive professional and political careers, this collection contains correspondence, newspaper and magazine articles, handwritten notes and cards, photographs, published materials, books, photocopies, and ephemera. The fonds has been split into 4 series: Politics and law (1943-2015); Publications and reviews (1956-2015); Associations, conferences and academia (1940-2015); Personal (1914-2015).

The fonds consists of typescripts and audio reels of CBC radio reviews of stage plays, motion pictures, children's books and popular culture events and festivals, especially those held in the Lower Mainland area of B.C. Fonds also includes related publicity materials.

Sub-series consists of electronic backups of housepress’s administrative and manuscript files.
