The collection consists of Lampman's manuscripts, letters by Lampman to Maud Playter Lampman (1885-1898), letters to family members, correspondence with other poets and editors (1882-1897), letters exchanged between Lampman family members and friends (1859-1950) and miscellanea (1887-1965).
