Sub-series consists of single-issue or short-lived publications produced by The Peak Publications Society. Includes an early student directory (1967), student course guides and anti-calendars, Compass (1967), issues 1-12 of Terminal City Express (1972-1973), SNAFU Review (1978), cartoons, and an issue of Westword: Literature at Simon Fraser University (1996).

Sub-series consists of editions of the Canadian Farmworkers Union newspaper The Farmworker, newspaper clippings about the union and its activities, posters and leaflets on a variety of subjects, and press releases. Records also include a recording of a radio program about the Canadian Farmworkers Union, CFU logo lapel pins, and photographs of events.

Purcell String Quartet files

This sub-series consists of records relating to the association of SFU and the Quartet. Activities documented include contract negotiations, budget, funding and reporting, campus performances and workshops, off-campus tours, and the decision in 1982 to discontinue the residency. Records include correspondence, proposals, reports, contracts and agreements, funding requests and grant applications, programs, tour itineraries, maps and briefing notes, media releases, publicity photograph (file 14), and press clippings.

Race relations research files

Sub-series consists of records compiled by Hari Sharma as a member of the City of Vancouver's Police/Ethnic Liaison Committee and Special Committee on Race Relations. Sub-series includes papers, notes, correspondence, minutes, newsletters, and memos.

Radical Campus - chapter drafts

Sub-series contains drafts of all the chapters of Radical Campus. Johnston's publishers, Douglas and McIntyre, reviewed the manuscript draft of Radical Campus and asked Johnston to condense the book. This sub-series includes lengthier versions of the chapters.

Ragged horizons records

Sub-series consists of records relating to the development and promotion of Trower's 1978 book "Ragged Horizons." Includes the final selection of poems, as well as correspondence, corrections, a draft of Al Purdy’s introduction, and promotional material.

Rainbow Publishers records

Sub-series consists of correspondence, announcements, notes, publicity, and financial information created, made, and/or received by Hari Sharma as one of the founders of Rainbow Publications. The publication house began as a venture initiated by Sharma, his friends, and comrades in India to inexpensively make available in India works on Marxism and socialism published in the English-speaking world.

Reading and Study Centre

Sub-series consists of records relating to the daily administration of the Reading and Study Centre and includes Vice-President's correspondence with Centre personnel; job descriptions and resumes; proposed budget and fees; syllabus development and literacy tests; and program status reports produced each semester. Records include correspondence, working papers and reports, statistics, annual reports, financial statements, and publications.

Readings and performances by Blaser records

Sub-series consists of textual materials related to readings and other performances of Blaser’s written works. Included is a transcript of an interview with Blaser, handwritten notes from Blaser’s reading copy of The Holy Forest, copies of poems read at events, programs, correspondence with organisers, receipts, and schedules.

"Readings From the Labyrinth" records

Sub-series consists of records relating to the book "Readings from the Labyrinth," a collection of essays by Daphne Marlatt. Records include manuscripts, newspaper clippings, photographs, and other conference material.

This sub-series contains live performances, reels for use in performance, master tapes for recording projects, and broadcasts. The formats are mostly audio cassettes and audio reels. The Recordings sub-series also includes items that are more experimental or improvisatory and might not be included in the works list.
